Boo to losing your pass. You’ll have to cancel it ASAP so no one can use it if it’s not been handed in. Years ago we had mice in our loft and it’s surprising how much noise they make running about. My mum was convinced it was rats.

OBL, We have had problems with mice on & off since we've been here, including quite recently. I hate using poison, but sometimes it is the only way. It needs to be taken back to the nest to stop them multiplying. I hate the thought of it, but there have been times when the humane traps just haven't been enough to get on top of the size of the problem.

I am getting a new one tomorrow so hopefully the old one will have some sort of number on so it can be cancelled, you literally just hold it up to the driver though so I'm not sure it can even be done, I just hope that if someone has got it that they needed it more than me 😟
Im going up into the loft later to see if I can spot anything, I might take one of the cats up with me just in case, trouble is when you go up there they hide away 🤷‍♀️

I saw that you had a mice problem Foxgloves, I'm hoping to avoid poison but if I can't solve the problem I think I'm going to have to resort to it, it's just that there are so many cats here and if they pick up a mouse that's been poisoned they could be poisoned too. My poor neighbours cat died from this, I found the cat and had to take it to the vet and it was awful to see, it was obviously in a lot of pain 😢😢

  • It's good you've now been told you're getting offered the chest x ray but not so good that you're having that difficulty. Hopefully it's just the reflux and once that's under control you'll be able to get back to normal with it.

Sorry your bus pass hasn't been handed in too. That must be so frustrating for you especially having to spend money on something you know you didn't need to. X

What a nuisance with the bus pass. I wonder if it slipped between the bus seats or something. It could be anywhere. Have you checked your purse and bag in case you put it in there without thinking. I couldn’t find my credit card recently and I’d slipped it behind another card in my purse by mistake.

I hope you get the X-ray and your throat sorted out soon, it’s frightening when you can’t swallow properly. Hopefully your mind will be put at rest shortly and you’ll get treatment for the reflux 🤞

Hope everything goes ok with the blood tests and x rays for you. 🤞 easier said than done but try not to worry.....especially as you are a nurse 😂😂😂 all my friends and family that are nurses are terrible patients as they have medical knowledge....

Thanks,I am relieved they are finally offering me a chest X-ray,my boss at work has been telling me I need one since I had the chest infection last September, my GP is not very proactive in sending people for tests, one of my friends goes to her GP all the time and they always send her for tests straight away. The payment for the bus pass is deducted from my wages before I get paid each month so I will just carry on paying for it,I'm annoyed about the admin charge though
