Boo to losing your pass. You’ll have to cancel it ASAP so no one can use it if it’s not been handed in. Years ago we had mice in our loft and it’s surprising how much noise they make running about. My mum was convinced it was rats.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

OBL, We have had problems with mice on & off since we've been here, including quite recently. I hate using poison, but sometimes it is the only way. It needs to be taken back to the nest to stop them multiplying. I hate the thought of it, but there have been times when the humane traps just haven't been enough to get on top of the size of the problem.

It's such a shame you can't do the active things you enjoy. That must be a difficult adjustment to make and I know I would struggle. Re counting calories, as I don't seem to need all that many I now celebrate any quarter pound decrease in weight as a victory, rather than saying I need to lose some larger amount by whenever. A quarter pound actually lost is after all of much greater value than an intention to lose a stone!
I do hope you can get back on horseback in the not-too-distant, by the way.
I do find it really frustrating that I can't do as much activity as I used to. Every so oven I rebel and try to increase my walking to running but it always ends in a massive flare up of pain, the people I'm following for advice on how to deal with it say to power through which I've tried but I have to be careful that I don't end up taking time off work because I've overdone it,I think running on a treadmill might be ok because it's obviously assisted and softer than the ground but I cant afford the gym and riding and I know which one I would rather do 😀I am currently waiting for news on when the stables are going to re open and I will be straight on it, I've got my Christmas money from DD1 and my Mum burning a hole in my pocket as I've saved it just for ridingOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -

Im going up into the loft later to see if I can spot anything, I might take one of the cats up with me just in case, trouble is when you go up there they hide away 🤷♀️Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -

So I've ransacked my house and my bus pass is not here anywhere, I went to the bus station and no one has handed it in 😟 I spoke to the dept who issue them at work and they told me they can issue me with a new one but there is a £25 admin fee and they can only do it once in any year,I have had to report the old one as lost on a site called Report My Loss which is like a digital lost property site, you are then given a log number and if it turns up anywhere they can email you. I've got an appointment to go and get another one tomorrow when I'm at work. In the mean time I have had to buy a daily bus ticket for yesterday to get to work, today to go into town and will need a single for work tomorrow so an extra £11 on travel this week 😡, I normally keep my ticket in a pass holder and just put it in the front pocket of my rucksack but I might just try keeping it in my purse instead so I get used to putting it away properly, I can't remember putting it back in my bag so might have put it in my pocket which it could have fallen out of. I have lost it before but luckily I got it back
Today I had to get up early because I had an early morning phone appointment with a GP. I have been having trouble swallowing for the last few weeks and feel like I have a lump/ slight blockage in my throat , I also have pain on swallowing food which is odd. The GP I spoke to has arranged for a chest X-ray because I also keep getting a sore throat and a hoarse voice. I've been trying to get a chest X-ray since I had covid but my normal GP seems very reluctant to do that, the GP I spoke to today told me that they have to get a chest X-ray of the lungs if a patient presents with the symptoms I've got so I'm not sure why I haven't been offered one before 😟I've also got to have a blood test and a face to face appointment to be examined, the blood test has to be within a week so is hopefully being done at work tomorrow if my GPs computer system is linked to the hospital ( which it should be now ) I have to wait for the hospital to contact me about the X-ray and I'm seeing my GP for the face to face on the 16th of March, hopefully I will have both X-ray and blood results back by then, if nothing comes up on the X-ray they are trying me back on omeprazole for acid reflux for the next four weeks to see if that helps, if not they will refer me to ENT for get it looked at
I became aware of this problem in January but thought I was imagining it because it wasn't there all the time, it's now a constant feeling and if I have a drink I can feel it's taking a long time to go down my throat, I also noticed that I keep tasting my codeine tablets at the top of my throat when I swallow them,I thought there was a problem with the tablets but I've come to realise it's because there is water at the top of my throat so they are dissolving before I can swallow them 🙀anything bigger than this gets stuck unless I drink a big glass full of water. The doctor I spoke to this morning said that my oesophagus could be inflamed because of the reflux not being properly under control but there could also be other reasons so I will just have to wait and see

It's good you've now been told you're getting offered the chest x ray but not so good that you're having that difficulty. Hopefully it's just the reflux and once that's under control you'll be able to get back to normal with it.
Sorry your bus pass hasn't been handed in too. That must be so frustrating for you especially having to spend money on something you know you didn't need to. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x3 -
What a nuisance with the bus pass. I wonder if it slipped between the bus seats or something. It could be anywhere. Have you checked your purse and bag in case you put it in there without thinking. I couldn’t find my credit card recently and I’d slipped it behind another card in my purse by mistake.I hope you get the X-ray and your throat sorted out soon, it’s frightening when you can’t swallow properly. Hopefully your mind will be put at rest shortly and you’ll get treatment for the reflux 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Hope everything goes ok with the blood tests and x rays for you. 🤞 easier said than done but try not to worry.....especially as you are a nurse 😂😂😂 all my friends and family that are nurses are terrible patients as they have medical knowledge....January spends - £587.582
