I used to love Baileys but find my tastes have changed and I can no longer drink it 😩 For many years it was the law to have a glass while writing Christmas cards. I’m the same with mince pies, suddenly become really fussy about them 😩 What’s going on!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I think our taste buds change as we get older, I used to drink whisky but find it quite rich now so don't drink it much anymore, I do love Baileys though and even have it in my coffee at this time of year 😀I'm fussy with mince pies as well, I like soft crumbly pastry and ones I bought yesterday are quite hard and crunchy, think I will stick with M&S s ones, they are normally lovely, last year we had some donated that came from Aldi and they were nice,we also had a Christmas cake from Lidl's and it was one-off the next Christmas cakes I've ever tried,it was beautifully decorated as well, I do wish there was a Lidl store close enough for me to get to hereSun_Addict said:I used to love Baileys but find my tastes have changed and I can no longer drink it 😩 For many years it was the law to have a glass while writing Christmas cards. I've had a semi busy day so far. It's a bit dull out and looks like it might rain so B went on a short walk. I've changed my bed and got a load of washing on the go and I've tidied downstairs. The last of the DGC' s presents turned up today as well so that's them all done .
I don't really feel like doing much today because I'm really tired and feel a bit achey so I'm doing the bare minimum. I was kept awake last night by my next door neighbours Christmas lights on the front of their house, they have attached them to the guttering so one end is right by my window and they left them on all night so I could see flashing lights through my curtains, I've got some black out curtains that I bought for when I decorate my room but I haven't put them up yet,I might have to put them up now if they don't turn them off
We are out of lockdown now but into tier two which I need to have a look at because I can't remember the rules, I know we can go shopping now so I'm hoping to get into town at some point to finish my present shopping, I really don't want to go and do it though, I can't seem to concentrate enough to decide what to do first. I was hoping to meet my friend for coffee tomorrow but that's not going to happen now an it's now too cold to meet outside 😟
Im also really sad about Debenhams closing, what a loss to the high street that will be 😟Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
It is sad about Debenhams, I used to like a potter round there and love their handbags. Such a shame but I think it’s been on the cards for some time, they were in trouble before Covid. There’ll be nothing left in city centres at this rate.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

It's the boss of Arcadia's fault flaming Philip Green, JD sports were going to buy them out until his business collapsed, there are so many Arcadia concessions in Debenhams they pulled out 😟 he is a one man wrecking ball when it comes to running a business into the ground ,so now he can add Topshop, Burtons, Dorothy Perkins and Debenhams to the list of shops that have had to close due to his shoddy business practices 😡Sun_Addict said:It is sad about Debenhams, I used to like a potter round there and love their handbags. Today has been another slow day as I'm not feeling great. I didn't get up until 10.20 and still struggled to get up then. I had to go out to Boots because I needed some reflux meds and while I was there I bought a tinted moisturiser, it's a Garnier one and was £9.99 but I used some of my Boots points,it's made my skin look good so worth it 😊it does smell quite perfumed though so I might developed a reaction but I will try it and see
I'm now in for the rest of the day and will be relaxing for the rest of it

I can highly recommend this CC cream by L’Oréal. It doesn’t irritate my skin, I even used it when I had a bad flare up of eczema on my face to cover the redness. It’s an alarming shade of green when it comes out of the tube but settles into a shade to suit your skin. Loads of people have asked what I use. Makes your skin look brilliant.

Thanks SA I will have a look next time I'm in town, the one I've bought is a BB cream ( don't actually know what BB means😂😂) there was a Nivea one as well that might have been ok. I was looking for Dove but couldn't find itSun_Addict said:I can highly recommend this CC cream by L’Oréal.
