Hope the nausea passes soon. I used to have awful nausea when pregnant, but rarely sick (which is a first for me, normally my body takes any excuse to throw up!) I used to compare it to an all day hangover to my husband. Only way to describe it. Bleugh.

But it sounds like you are getting there, hope your dd is improving too.

Happy knitting OBL. I’m enjoying knitting a simple Aran jacket for gdds - hope the novelty doesn’t wear off because I want to do them 1 each.....and they are growing fast 😂😂I’m taking no chances and doing an age 6 for the youngest who’ll be 4 next month and age 7-8 for the older one who is 6 😂😂
I like the idea of a chunky jumper for slobbing around in.....I never do anything for myself.
Thanks Milann,I wanted to knit myself an Aran jumper but can't find a pattern I like the look of,it's also a long time since I knitted one so I thought I would start off with a plain knit jumper then graduate to an Aran jumper or cardigan, when my girls were little I used to knit them all their jumpers and and cardigans, you should definitely knit something for yourself

I can remember when my kids were little knitting myself loads of chunky jumpers with really thick needles. I used to churn them out faster than the speed of light. I used to like knitting but was never great at it, was forever dropping stitches and then having to sew the holes up afterwards 😂 I don’t have the time or patience now.
I've always loved knitting but haven't knitted anything for myself fo years, I need a project and fancied something different from cross stitch plus it will be something I can wear

I've just spent the last week or so reading your diary from the beginning and I've loved it.
I'm also a HCA/support worker, though in a mental health environment and I've been so encouraged by what you manage on what I know is a low wage.
    You've given me hope :)
Awww thanks for reading my diary,I'm so surprised when someone tells me they have taken the time to read it all 😀I'm glad I've been able to give you some hope,I spent so many years not managing my money so the relief I feel now that I have my finances under control is immense

£18 for a new jumper is a bargain and it keeps you occupied!
That's what I thought, I'm not sure what the wool will be like but so long as it's soft that's good enough for me and it will keep me busy for a while 😊

Thanks Drawingaline. I had terrible sickness when I was pregnant and nearly ended up in hospital at one point, I've just eaten some vanilla ice cream and that seems to have cured it for now😊 My chest is feeling a lot better now though so that's good. DD is also suffering with a dodgy tummy and is really tired but she is improving

I posted on Facebook earlier saying well done to Joe Biden on winning the US election, a few minutes later my phone started pinging so I looked and it was a ranting message from my sister who lives in Nottingham saying how I shouldn't put that on my page because I'm supporting a child abuser 🙀 Honestly this is why I keep my distance from my family, they are all nutcases 🙀
