The house is done 🎉🎉🎉 and I can now relax. I had a bit of a panic earlier while ironing my work trousers thinking what if they don't fit 🙀🙀🙀 I spent ten days not eating properly but only lost a couple pounds which I've now put back on. I guess I will find out tomorrow 😀
DD has rallied a bit this evening, she has just hoovered her room and is now  doing her ironing, hopefully this is a sign she is feeling much better. We seem to have a good day followed by a crash, I've got Tuesday off so apart from a bit of shopping I'm not planning on doing much at all, I might be brave and do my ironing though

I survived work yesterday but it was tiring. I was ok so long as I stayed in one department but I walked along the corridor to the ward and was out of breath when I got there, also talking a lot was a bit challenging, people will have to get used to me not talking much for a bit 😊 I did pace myself and was very mindful of my limits. It was a nice day all in all, I got to have a go at the new computer system and I must say it makes things a lot more efficient and I'm sure with lots of regular use it will become easier. I slept better last night too 🎉🎉 I have felt ok today apart from breathlessness and the headache that won't go away.
Today I didn't get up until 10 am so I had a lovely lie in. I went into town and managed to get all the shopping I couldn't get on Saturday. I came home and cleaned out the chicken house so they have nice new thick bed of sawdust now and I can stop feeling guilty 😊
I was very naughty this afternoon and bought myself a knitting pattern for a jumper plus the wool to knit it,I bought it online as there doesn't seem to be any wool shops left here apart from one in my local shopping centre but its quite pricey, I just want a bog standard jumper in a chunky wool to wear round the house or when walking the dog so this one will do nicely and altogether only cost me £18, the wool I've bought is a slate grey colour, there was a lovely pale grey too but it was sold out. I feel like I need a proper knitting project to keep me busy and to be something I would actually use, of course I've still got my socks I'm supposed to be knitting and I will have a go at them at some point,I only have one thick jumper so I do need one for winter. I also bought some Christmas cards and a Christmas present today, we always buy each other new pjs at Christmas so I got DD 2 some cute ones from Next, Ive also ordered DD 2 an embroidery kit from Etsy, we normally buy each other something to wear (pjs) something to make and something to read each year.
DD went back to work today which I think is a mistake,she came home feeling terrible and after eating some food she went straight to bed. I told her she should wait a bit longer but she felt fine yesterday so thought she would be ok 😟
Tomorrow I'm on a late so not due in to work until 12 but won't finish until 8pm. I have Thursday off and have no plans to go anywhere, I still haven't done my ironing so will do it on Thursday,I'm now off to bed because I am actually feeling sleepy

Glad it wasn't so bad and hope you had a restful night. 
Working a late night give you time in the morning just to do things a bit slower x

Pleased that you survived the day. You'll just have to keep taking it steady until you build your strength back up, don't expect to be able to get everything done, just do what you can.

Good that work was okay, and that the new computer system looks helpful. IT that does what you want it to sounds like the sort of thing they put in futuristic movies from the 1980s, doesn't it?! But it's great when it hits the spot.
Enjoy your knitting! I was discussing with a friend yesterday that embroidery might be the next lockdown craze, (I have too many Unfinished Objects so I will have to fetch one out) but knitting is such a cosy thing to do especially in winter. Keeps your knees warm.
