  • It's good news that you're well enough to go into work and fortunate that you can do a shorter day so you don't overdo things.

I think the autumn colours look lovely too 🍁 🍂, almost nicer than the summer foliage 🍃 which can be a bit one dimensional.

Thank goodness you don't have to pay the vet bill 🐱. I hope the tablets do the trick.

Sorry to read you’re still not feeling great. I guess it will take it’s time to get out of your system and it’s still early days really. I’m not surprised about the lockdown, there are some really stupid people out there. Most of us have been careful and they just can’t behave themselves. At least it’s clear now what we’re doing - basically nothing.

Try and take it easy, baby steps and all that x

  • Sorry to read your still not so good.
I think some of those people have no care for anything and don't always think through the long term implications.
Unfortunately it is that minority that are impacting the majority.

Are you sure you are fit enpough to return to work? It doesnt sound like it if you are feeling ill after a shopping trip. I understand you feel guilty because colleagues are struggling ( been there and done that)  but if you go back too soon you will end up being off again and possibly set back your eventual recovery. People recover at different rates and pushing yourself will not do you or colleagues any good in the long run.
  • I agree OBL. You musn't go back to work if you're still not well enough. Covid-19 is a nasty virus and can cause relapses. See how you are today.

I feel angry with silly people who don't follow lockdown rules as this second lockdown has to be caused by those people. If people wore masks, socially distanced and used hand gel the virus wouldn't be spreading like mad again. Part of the trouble are the conspiracy theories online that foolish people believe, plus those who think they're immune and don't care about anyone but themselves  😡. We've gone from Tier 1 to lockdown in the South West which is a bit of a shock to the system. Mind you we were days away from Tier 2 where I live, but still!

If you are still feeling ill OBL then perhaps you should not go back to work next week.  I have already fumed about the lockdown elsewhere but I agree with the above by SA, Niknak and HH.
