I wasn't going to volunteer 😊I'm not up to it yet, I just hate knowing they are struggling but realise I can't do anything about it. If I was on holiday I would have volunteered 😊
I just watched the knew drama The Sister and it looks promising if a little scary, nothing to give me nightmares yet though 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
Forgot to add that we took B out for her evening walk and I ended up nearly having a heart attack,it was dark and we were chatting when all of a sudden DD looks up and says " what's that in that garden " they've only gone and made a scary scarecrow with a pumpkin for a head, it looks really horrible in the dark, I almost screamed 😀😀I have an irrational fear of scarecrows, it's got a sign round its neck and DD wanted to go and have a look to see what it said and I couldn't cross the road. Sleeping will be fun tonight knowing that's out there 🙀🙀🙀🙀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945

During lockdown a lot of local people did a scarecrow trail in their front gardens. When I was doing my early morning runs there were several occasions when I nearly jumped out of my skin as I spotted them out of the corner of my eye. Some of them were so realistic! I'm not scared of scarecrows, it's clowns I don't like.
Glad you weren't tempted to help out at work, you need to get yourself back to normal first.

Slept really well last night and Mr Scarecrow didn't keep me awake in the end 😀I must have been really tired though because I didn't wake up until 12.30 today. I think I need to start setting my alarm clock now and gradually moving it back to a reasonable time to get up, I'm going to set it for 10.30 tomorrow and see if I feel ok then, I need to get back into a routine because next Monday I've got to be up at 5.15am 😫
I haven't done much at all today apart from sort the chickens, one load of washing and walk B twice, we have graduated to walking round the block which takes about 15 minutes, it's up our hill round a flat loop and then back down the hill so not too strenuous
This evening I watched my drama programme again and it's getting interesting now ,there's two more to go and I'm itching to find out what happens. I was also thinking about Xmas decorations today, we keep saying we are going to make felt paper chains so we can use them over and over again,I've never been able to find a colour mix of felt that I like but today I found some on the Bay Of E ,I'm so tempted to order the pack and try to make them, the colours of the felt I like are gorgeous ❤️ I then stupidly went onto Pinterest which is never a good idea,I found a lovely cable stitch mug cosy pattern that I can make with wool I already own and a pattern for knitted bunting which would look lovely in my bedroom when I decorate plus a pattern for a cable stitch cowl neck warmer that does up with buttons, I really really really shouldn't look at Pinterest because I get sucked in and distracted from the things I should be doing now, they are very quick projects though 🤪😀

Forgot to post say it was payday today😊 my wages were ok but not as good as normal because I've missed a lot of unsocial hours over the last month, it was comforting to know though that I still had enough to cover everything even with a low month. I checked my bank last night to sweep any money left over into savings so I've done that and now have more than enough for Xmas so I can stop saving for that now 🎉🎉 I now need to concentrate on building my emergency fund back up, it was down to £300 after Bs vet bill was paid but today DD2 paid me her rent so that's been transferred into the emergency fund which takes it back up to £600 two more months rent from DD2 will take it up to £1200, then I can hopefully start saving for my flooring again 🤞🤞🤞My new hours start on November the 23rd which will mean an income drop and a review of my saving plans again 😊

Glad that you have the Christmas fund sorted and your emergency fund. I am sure the flooring fund will start to come back up again once Christmas is out of the way.
How did getting up a little earlier work out? x
