Good to hear you are able to get out and about! Don't be too surprised if that's it for a while - not that I'm any expert but it sounds exhausting and it's possible your body will need to recover. Going shopping and walking the dog is huge progress, so congratulate yourself! Oh, and changing the bed takes some energy, too.
I hope the taste-tempters work. Applewoods is lovely.
I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I’m glad you’re starting to get out and eating again. It’s a good sign you’re starting to fancy certain foods. Sometimes your body tells you what it needs nutrients wise. When I broke my leg I had a craving for cheese so it must’ve been my bone needing calcium.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Really good to hear you are making small steps to get better. I hope your sense of smell and taste come back better over this week. As SA says take it easy and don't exert yourself.Have a good Sunday .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Good news that you are beginning to crave certain foods and are getting out for short walks.
Don’t rush back to work before you are ready though.....it’s not as if you can sit back and take it easy in your job.....from what I’ve seen it’s full on all the time.January spends - £587.583 -
So after Saturdays exertions I had a slow day yesterday because I felt so tired, I read my book nearly all day and only moved to make food or wash the dishes, I finished my book in the evening but I wasn't tired by then. I went to bed anyway thinking I would nod off and two hours later I was still awake so I thought I might as well get up and read something else, so I started another book and ended finishing that one too because I was still awake at 6 am 🙀this does happen to occasionally and I won't sleep for 24ish hours then I crash out for a day,it's really annoying and I never know when it's going to happen, I've been to work in the past after having not slept for 24 hours and been buzzing all day at work. I woke up at 12.30 and Im hoping I will sleep tonight
Today we walked B down to our local shop,it's downhill all the way there so not too bad but of course that means uphill on the way back, it wasn't too bad because we walked quite slowly and B stopped to sniff a lot, I only had to stop twice which was good going. It did insist on peeing down though which was annoying especially as it stopped when we got back 😡
I bought some lovely Tiger bread and had a couple of slices of that with some cheese for lunch and tonight I finally managed to eat some cottage pie,I bought some tender stem broccoli to have with it and managed to eat it all. I couldn't taste it but ate it anyway
Tonight I'm watching a new murder mystery called The Sister,it's got two of my favourite actors in it (Bertie Carvel and Russell Tovey ) but it might be too scary because it's a bit supernatural so I will have to see how I go, if it's too scary I will have to stop watching or I'll have nightmares
We have got to take B out for her evening walk yet and I don't want to go out,it's so cold and dark 😫
Work are appealing for HCAs to work Wednesday because there isn't anyone to cover the clinics, two of us are off sick and two are on AL because of half term so they are short staffed. It's very busy as well apparently so the staff are stretched, it doesn't help that they try to run the unit with the minimum amount of staff possible so when someone goes off you really notice it 😟Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
Dont even be tempted to work. You need time to recover or you may end up off for even longer. Glad to hear to are starting to eat and get some fresh air.not to mention wet.
