That is all sounding hopeful, OBL. No heroics though, Missis.... take things very steady while you build yourself back up.

Don't worry, I haven't got the energy for heroics, I'm planning my week this week to very gradually up the activity level so that hopefully I will be back to normal by next Monday when I'm due back at work. I need to sort my diet out first though because although cheese and crackers are nice I can't live on that and need to start to eat normal food 😊

I’m glad you’re starting to get out and eating again. It’s a good sign you’re starting to fancy certain foods. Sometimes your body tells you what it needs nutrients wise. When I broke my leg I had a craving for cheese so it must’ve been my bone needing calcium.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Really good to hear you are making small steps to get better. I hope your sense of smell and taste come back better over this week. As SA says take it easy and don't exert yourself.
    Have a good Sunday .
Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.

  • That sounds like you have turned a corner. Hopefully it is long lasting.
    Still keep resting x

Good news that you are beginning to crave certain foods and are getting out for short walks.
Don’t rush back to work before you are ready though.....it’s not as if you can sit back and take it easy in your job.....from what I’ve seen it’s full on all the time.

  • Yes don't you volunteer, you need to get better. They'll have to manage without you.
