Sorry you are still in such pain and your stomach is giving you problems.  I find lemonade helps with settling my stomach and the sweetness gives me a burst of energy.
I can do flat lemonade if I've got an upset tummy but fizzy drinks don't agree with me too much.

When Mr SA had what I now believe to have been Covid back in January, it was followed by a nasty diarrhoea and sickness bug. Isn’t it weird what you crave when you’re not well. I remember getting  a bug on holiday in Greece years ago and all I fancied was Heinz vegetable soup. Had to trawl several shops until I finally found a tin. Fingers crossed you start feeling better soon x

You do sound brighter today, OBL, which is good to hear, but make sure you don't overdo it, won't you?

Glad you're feeling a bit brighter. You'll just need to take it steady, don't try to do too much too soon.

It’s good you’ve managed to do a few bits bit I echo what the others say. Don’t do too much too soon.

If your body tells you to sleep, then sleep it is. I suspect you wouldn't be able to do much at work, feeling as you do. This is a strange virus, the way if affects people so differently (unless that's typical of viruses but we're picking up on this as it's new) - there will be people who might be fit for work by Saturday but it's clearly been hard on you.

    How is your daughter doing?

My DD seems to be making a really good recovery, she is due to go back on Friday and I suspect will be champing at the bit to get out of the house, of course it's only Tuesday so I might make a good recovery by Saturday but I don't want to leave it until the last minute to tell them I won't be there, it's difficult to know what to do really, I think it also hasn't helped that I hadn't fully recovered from the chest infection so getting this on top was jut too much, I am relieved it wasn't so bad to put me in hospital though so I've been quite lucky there 😊
