I'm glad she's on the mend. I think you're wise not to leave talking about returning till the last minute as they'll need to plan. Of course you might feel much better by then but you can only be sure of how you are now as recovery is so variable and as you said, you were still recovering from your previous infection.
    Sending hugs x

  • Hope the call goes well. I think it would be impossible for you to do a 12.5 hour shift with how you're feeling and they should understand this.

Sorry you are still suffering.  This virus sounds awful.  Hope you start to improve soon.

I hope you're both feeling better soon.

I've not braved making socks yet but I do stalk a sock-making group on Facebook. There are some lovely and results and a lot of interesting works in progress.

Definitely far too soon for either of you to think about returning to work. Work should be sensitive to this. We’re still learning about this damn virus and it appears it comes and goes in waves. What an absolute nightmare 😩 I remember Mr SA sleeping downstairs sitting up in a chair back in January because it kept his airways clearer. Really starting to believe he had Covid before it became a thing.

Cut yourself some slack and only do what you really feel you can do, don’t try to push too hard x

  • Thinking of you. Hopefully it'll start to ease soon.
Glad you've got at least another week off.
    Take care x
