Awww it’s surprising how a haircut makes them look grown up. You are doing the best thing by not having him too soon.Is your dd doing ok now? Is she back at work yet? It’s good to hear you are improving - just take care as my friend kept having relapses - took a good few weeks to get back to normal.January spends - £587.583

Do you know how long your sense of taste will be missing for?

Today did not go to plan.i was supposed to wake up at 10am but woke up at 7am with the most horrendous headache. I took some paracetamol and tried to go back to sleep because i was shattered but the headache was too painful so I took some ibuprofen and turned my alarm off,I woke up at 1.30 🙀🙀🙀 I still have a headache but it's not as bad as it was this morning, I do suffer with headaches but they had settled down lately so I'm hoping they aren't going to be a regular thing now
I haven't done any of today's planned activities yet because I simply can't be bothered, I have put a load of washing on and I might iron some of my clothes later because I'm running out of things to wear
We did take B for walk up the lane just now and I got to see the horses up there which was nice, hopefully in a few weeks I can book to go riding again because I haven't been for agesOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
The headache sounds horrendous, I hope it eases and you get a decent night's sleep. You are really doing well though - you've been 'proper poorly' and it's going to take time to get fighting fit.
DS2 lost his sense of taste for ages but is otherwise hale and hearty. As you say, it gets people differently.
I love that you are looking to go riding again.

Another day that hasn't gone to plan 🙄it seems I am now going through a bout of insomnia, this does happen to me every so often and I just have to keep going until it goes away,I think once I get back to work that will help because I will be tiring myself out so I overslept again,I had planned to pop into town because I need a few bits but one of the cats was limping quite dramatically so I had to take him to the vets instead, they couldn't find a reason for the pain but knowing this cat they have decided he has probably had a fight and been bitten on his leg somewhere so now has some sort of infection, he would normally develop an abscess in the next few days but I'm hoping we have caught it early enough to stop that happening,so he has had anti inflammatories and an antibiotic injection plus tablets for a week, I'm not sure how I'm going to get him to take a tablet without losing any limbs but will have to try 😳the bonus is this is DD1s cat so I'm not responsible for the vet bill 🎉🎉I sent her a text to let her know the bad news so she isn't too happy, I have given her the option of paying in two instalments so that should make it a bit easier ,the vet also trimmed his front claws which I was really pleased about,I've been trying to summon the courage to do them myself but was too scared 😀
I phoned work this morning to let them know I will be back on Monday so they were pleased,I am supposed to be doing a long day but I'm in outpatients for most of the shift so I asked if I could do a clinic shift and work 9-5 and they thought that was a good idea,so I'm now doing 9-5 on Monday a late (12-8) on Wednesday and a long day on Friday, I'm in clinic again on Friday so I'm going ask if I can do 9- 5 then as well, I think they will agree
I'm now going to go into ten tomorrow which I was actually trying to avoid because it's Saturday but needs must, I need shampoo which I buy in Superdrug and I also need sawdust and worms for the 🐓🐓I bought them a big bag of worms a few weeks ago and somehow managed to lose them, I remember bringing them home but not what happened to them after that, I've got a feeling I might have left them in the garden in which case I expect my friendly neighbourhood badgers have made off with them
We took B up the lane again this morning which was nice, the autumn colours up there are amazing and there is also lots of holly with berries,it looks lovely up there and was weirdly warm for OctoberOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
Sorry your day didn't go to plan and insomnia is back.
Good news about your work being flexible with you though. Definitely what you need whilst you're still recovering.
Hope tomorrow isn't too busy for you xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x2 -
It was unseasonably warm here today too. Good job DD1 is paying the vet bill, You must be their best customer right now. Hopefully any infection will be nipped in the bud. Hope you get an easy day tomorrow xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
