I'm normally really good if I buy thighs for Christmas,it goes in a box out of the way so I'm not normally tempted, this year has been a bit different though so who knows what will happen 😀
Who are the lucky recipients of the thighs for Christmas then 🤣 Might be rather tricky  to wrap 🤣

I did laugh at the thighs....I won’t be buying any, I have quite enough of my own 😂

Exactly - one never knows what might happen with temping thighs in boxes around the house 😂😂😂😂
i nipped in my local JLewis today - it just didn’t feel right to see Christmas things in the shop.....I’m not in the slightest bit inspired by them.......it’s still very early though.....

    😂😂😂
I normally like going to the shops to look at the Christmas bits but I'm a bit put off this year   because of the faff of having to wear a mask and having to try and avoid people who don't understand social distancing I would rather just stay at home where I know it's safe 😊

It’s going to be a carp Christmas this year that’s for sure. Last Christmas I had my leg in plaster and thought that was bad luck, little did I know things were about to take a very unexpected turn for the worse 😩

I've made a decision this week that's I've been mulling over for ages. I have decided to do a trial of cutting my hours at work for 6 months. I've really struggled this year what with one thing or another,I don't know if the pandemic is making it feel worse than it is but I feel like my job is grinding me down. It's very physically and mentally demanding and after nearly 28 years I am very tired . I thought now would be the best time to try it because I'm getting the monthly keep from DD2 so if it turns out I can't afford it I have that money as a safety net. If at the end of the 6 months I find I can't afford it I will put my hours back up to where they are now. I'm not sure when it will start,I spoke to one of my Matrons yesterday and she was very supportive, she said they would rather try different ways of working to keep me there rather than me end up leaving due to my health so that's positive, I had to fill out a flexible working form which I handed in yesterday and now just have to wait and see, they can say no but I don't think they will
Talking of work my trust goes completely digital on Saturday 🙀🙀🙀we will be doing everything online. I had my final bit of training on the new system on Tuesday and it wasn't too bad, they just have to sort out a few logging on niggles and it should be good to go. I was tasked with putting together an emergency box of paperwork yesterday for the staff to use over the weekend if it all goes wrong but hopefully they won't need it. I'm not working on the Saturday but poor DD2 is so she will be having an interesting day. I'm working Sunday though so hopefully things will be working well then
Today I didn't have DGS because I was up a lot last night in lots of pain, I stayed in bed until 9.30 to try and catch up on some sleep and did feel a lot better once I got up. I did get some washing done and lots of tidying so the house looks presentable again now. The deck chairs and DD2s fan and summer duvet have been packed away in the loft until next summer 😟and I'm now looking forward to lighting my candles and hibernating until spring

Great idea and as it’s on a trial basis you have the option to go back to full hours if you need to 👍
