My journey to a debt free life

I was rudely woken up this morning by Jcat loudly demanding his breakfast at 7.30 so he has had a stern talking to,Sunday's are for lying in. I did doze and got up at 9 which is much more civilised
We are having another dark grey rainy day here today. It's really grim outside but I had to go into town because I forgot to buy more cat food and we had nearly run out, i managed to buy that and some other bits we need and I was only out for about an hour and a half.
Dd did ask me to see if there were any slippers in Next because hers had fallen apart and she likes mine so I went and had a look round,I got her some slippers lie mine but they are grey and while I was there I found a lovely slouchy top in a deep plum colour so I treated myself to it, it was £16 so won't break the bank. I went through my wardrobe last week and I am a bit short on warm tops for winter so this will do nicely, I bought tops the year before last that should have seen me through a few winters but they all shrunk in the wash so are now too short to wear, they were from Debenhams and I won't be buying them again that's for sure. I like my tops to cover my tummy which this one will do nicely 😊
I also got my scarf and gloves out this week, when I went out with DD1 last week I was going to wear my scarf and gloves but didn't because the sun was shining, god did a regret that because it was quite windy and cold despite the sun, so Ive got my scarf and gloves out and my boots from the wardrobe and Im now set for any weather 😀
Im a little bit sad this afternoon though because while I was in town I was going to treat myself to a bar of Fruit and Nut chocolate which is my favourite and Ive been craving it and I forgot to buy it 🙀🙀🙀I didn't realise until I was on the bus 😟Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8948 -
Fancy forgetting the chocolate 😱 On the plus side think of all the calories you’ve saved 🤣 We’ve had a beautiful warm sunny day here today which came as a surprise as it forecast rain. It was dire yesterday though, dark and raining all day.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I thought I was going to have another lazy day today but I have done some jobs, more washing has been done ( where does it all come from) and I've been out and given the chickens a good clean out, I've cleaned their run and used some of the new ground sanitising powder I bought last week, I got really excited to see it comes with a scoop, I do love a scoop so I don't have to put my hands in, this stuff disinfects the ground and also kills any worm larvae and eggs that might be around but it does this by dehydrating them so if you constantly get it on your hands it dries your skin out, it smells quite nice too
I also have a dilemma I forgot to post about earlier. I think my phone might be packing up 🙀 it's an iPhone 5s so quite old it's on a sim only deal with virgin,I want to stay with virgin but don't want to upgrade and have to pay for a phone so I think I'm going to buy a refurbished second hand one. I was looking on Music magpie and they had some good deals on there, I need one that's unlocked and in good condition, there's have a years warranty too. I also looked in my local Game shop which is where my iPad came from and they also had some good deals, there was an iPhone 6 in the window and it said it was in fair condition which usually means it has slight cosmetic marks somewhere and it was actually in better condition than my current phone. I think Music Magpie had more choice and were slightly cheaper but I like being able to go and examine the product I'm buying so might stick with Game,I'm going to wait to see if my phone actually breaks completely first, it keeps cutting out when I'm talking on the phone but apart from that it works ok, I've had it for several years and love it because it's not too big so will be sad when it breaksOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8946 -

My old iPhone started cutting out shortly before it died. I’d had it for about 5 years so got my money’s worth.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Sounds like a plan about your phone. I think looking is the best idea too. I've been saying before by not looking so prob best if you can see it.
Hope your dad's scan doesn't show anything serious. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x4 -
