Hope your dad's scan doesn't show anything serious. XOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -
Just popping back in to tell you all that I actually started my Xmas food shopping today 🙀🙀🙀 we have a tradition that every Christmas we have to have Elizabeth Shaw mints ( has to be the ones in the round box) anyway last year I saw some around about this time but didn't buy them because I thought it was too early. When it came time to buy them I couldn't remember where I had seen them and we couldn't find them anywhere, luckily we saw some when we went to Mr T for the main Xmas shop but there was only one box with a lady standing in front of them so I had to practically rugby tackle her out of the way to get to the chocolates 😂😂 Today I was in Wilkos and there they were boxes and boxes of crisp minty chocolates so I bought two boxes. I have now decided that I'm going to buy a couple of things every week from now so I won't have to rush round like a loony in December and might actually be able to find all my favourite things
Now I've admitted to starting my Xmas food shop I'm off to bed because my holiday is over and I have to get up at 5.15 for work 😢😢😢😢Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8948 -
That's a good idea OBL to start getting bits each week. I might so the same. I am going to make a start this month. I've normally almost finished by now but not even started this year.
I think I'll need to start putting some bits away but find I usually eat them xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x5 -
You won't like this, but I've just thrown away a box of Elizabeth Shaw mints. My SIL bought me them when I broke my leg, I don't like mint chocolate, Mr SA tried one and didn't like it so they languished in the drawer for ages until the other day when I threw them in the bin. At one time I would've taken them to work and put them in the kitchen area for people to take but obviously WFH that's not happening. Good idea to start buying bits now though before it starts to get too busy.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I’ve just found all sorts I’d bought for last Christmas - fancy nuts, and liquorice all sorts. I also have a home made Christmas cake we didn’t cut into 😱😱......and a box of Elizabeth Shaw mints that were half eaten.....half a box of out of date Freddos and out of date Jaffa cakes. I’ve bought them on offer and thrown them in my Christmas cupboard but we go away most Christmasses to dds........I will NOT be so wasteful this year.....Who knows what’ll happen this year though.January spends - £587.583

So sorry to hear about your dad. I hope the scan is soon so at least he knows one way or the other.
Laughing at your Xmas shopping antics. I am normally buying presents by this time, but although I have a list we are hopefully moving in a few weeks, and I refuse to move presents! So will be a bit delayed this year.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉3 -
