I agree that stress is a major cause of illness. In the months prior to my mum being diagnosed with a brain tumour (and sadly losing her battle) she had a lot of stress from a family member who was using her address as a base while he went travelling, he'd run up a lot of debt, and she kept getting debt collectors knocking at her door. This obviously was a great worry for her. Mr SA's mum lost her bag in the city centre containing £1,000 cash (apparently she was carrying this amount around with her in case she saw something she wanted!). She was extremely upset about it for some time, she then developed stomach cancer and lost her life sadly. Then Mr SA was very stressed with work, he was at breaking point shortly before he became ill and subsequently diagnosed with Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma. All concrete evidence of what stress can do.

Hope you're having a good day today with DGS x

How do you know my hair looks great 🙀😀
*Ahem* Admittedly I can't actually see it, but the confident expression on your face gives it away. :)
As I'm also reading the 'When the body says no', I see what you mean about the onset of your fibro. Perhaps you need a way to 'talk through' what happens as and when you need to. That doesn't necessarily mean an audience. You could just journal about it if that would help.
😂😂ok, I was worried I had a secret stalker 😂 I do journal intermittently but it's like reopening old wounds over and over again, I might give it a go to work through things as and when they happen though as that might help 😊

It is definitely surprising what stress can do to your body. A close relative of mine had an accident at the end of January- he’s never had any diabetes at all but his blood sugars were very dangerously high.....he had to have insulin injections and they had to put back surgery until he stabilised......then he reduced to oral meds and now it has completely sorted itself out to normal again.....
After I’d had major surgery in 2006 a couple of months later most  of my hair dropped out and grew back curly.....I’m hoping it doesn’t happen again this time.
I think it’s fascinating and might well look into the book you were talking about.
It's really interesting how the mind affects the body. How weird that your hair grew back curly, I've noticed that happening to patients on chemo, they have strict hair that falls out but when it comes back it's quite often curly

It's mind blowing isn't it and a bit scary because you just don't know what effect it's having on you 😟

I also agree on the impact of stress. I was diagnosed with fibro after going through pregnancy and then the difficulty of living hundreds of miles from family with a husband who worked abroad. I was a living zombie at times.
Interestingly, the last few years have reduced my symptoms and flare ups. The walking on egg shells I can really sympathise with. I'm sorry cpu selling didn't help.
Hope you had a lovely afternoon x

Coconut loo rolls....whatever next😱🤔 I bet you paid over the odd for them too. Coconut should be in the middle of a Bounty bar not a loo roll 😳😳

😂 @ the middle of a Bounty.....how true! Since the great tp shortage of 2020 I have made bulk orders of 5 x 9 rolls from Am@zon....the quilted ones are very similar to the branded ones I used to get...and while not making a huge saving, the safety of having plenty in is definitely worth it and last for months. I’ll continue to buy them this way now.
