That's good news about your Mum.
Frustrating for her, not being allowed to get on with things but at least she can look forward to being back on form not all that far in the future.
I do see what you mean about your cough dragging on: it must be very wearing, and doubly so when you're in pain too.I wonder if your flare up is stress-related? I'm reading 'When the body says no' which puts a lot of emphasis on the impact of stress and everyone is feeling it nowadays. It could be something else, but the everyday stresses of working in health care and the constant vigilance needed are going to test the toughest people.

Sorry you're having a flare up OBL. They're awful to experience.
Glad your mum is at home though and recovering. That must be a bit of a relief.
I do love pasties but they don't agree with me!
Have a lovely day.

The fibromyalgia is 100% stress related but usually presents as severe muscle pain and feeling heavy limbed but this pain is all in my joints which is unusual,it could however be another fibro symptom. I've done a lot of research and reading about mind body syndromes and I'm fully convinced this is what is causing my problems. The frustrating thing at the moment is that none of my tried and tested methods of dealing with the pain seem to be working this time so I'm at a loss as to how to manage it 😟Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -

Today has been busy. We did an online shop last night due to reports that delivery slots are becoming hard to come by. Mr T didn't have any for a couple of weeks, Mr S only had one slot for this morning between 10 and 11am so we nabbed that one there weren't any more until Saturday. I have restocked my big box of washing powder because last time people started panicking buying I couldn't get the one I use for weeks, the box I bought a couple of weeks ago has barely gone down so it's definitely a better way of buying it and I don't need it yet but I'm not being put into the same situation as I was when lockdown happened and I couldn't get any of my shopping,I've bought another 24 loo rolls so they will last us a good while and I ordered two bags of pasta because we couldn't buy that either, I've stocked up on quorn pieces as well because they disappeared for weeks, I was really annoyed after chatting to one of our senior nurses about how we couldn't find any quorn chicken pieces when everyone went crazy and she told me that she had bought some to keep in the freezer in case they couldn't get meat but they didn't need them in the end so chucked them out because they would only have eaten them as a last resort 😡
My niece then arrived to cut my hair,so I finally feel less like a yetty 😀 it feels weird now though because it had got quite long and is now really short
After my haircut I went out and met my friend for lunch,we went to a local independent cafe that's just reopened after having a refit, I had a mature cheddar with onion and pineapple chutney sourdough toastie and it was so yummy, I will definitely go there again
I'm now at home not doing a lot because I'm worn out and my chest feels horrible so I'm chilling on the settee before I go out and sort the 🐓🐓out for the nightOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8947 -
That toastie sounds lovely and how frustrating about the Quorn.
I've posted a pic of what I used on my diary so you can see in case you need it.
Hope you're feeling better tomorrow xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Silly question I am sure as I don't know anything about your problem, but does eating cheese make your chest worse?

Funny that you mention the delivery slots because I normally have mine booked up for 3 weeks ahead and now can only book for 2 weeks ahead. They’ve just taken the delivery pass payment so I won’t be happy if I’m struggling to get deliveries again 😡 I’m like you and feel the cold very easily, my heating is often on in the summer if it’s below 26 degrees, I don’t like being cold. That’s annoying about the colleague wasting the quorn pieces, why do people do this 😡I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
