I haven't noticed any difference from eating cheese 😊badmemory said:Silly question I am sure as I don't know anything about your problem, but does eating cheese make your chest worse?Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -
I think things are about to get a bit iffy again so the supermarkets are trying to pre empt any problems,it's a bit naughty to renew your pass though if they are going to struggle to give you slotsSun_Addict said:Funny that you mention the delivery slots because I normally have mine booked up for 3 weeks ahead and now can only book for 2 weeks ahead. They’ve just taken the delivery pass payment so I won’t be happy if I’m struggling to get deliveries again 😡 I’m like you and feel the cold very easily, my heating is often on in the summer if it’s below 26 degrees, I don’t like being cold. That’s annoying about the colleague wasting the quorn pieces, why do people do this 😡Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
Have just realised why I can’t get the delivery slots for Mr M beyond 2 weeks hence - they are moving from Ocado warehouse to coming from their own store. Hopefully this will be a good thing 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I hope you start to feel better soon OBL. It's horrible feeling ill and in pain.
I've stocked up a bit on basics from the supermarket as I read that Mr M are restricting certain items to three again and that gave me the urge to rush out and buy them! During lockdown I had trouble getting hold of the value items I normally buy and had to buy more expensive items, so I've restocked our store cupboard again and intend to buy a new item every time we use one so that it doesn't run down. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Your hair looks great.

It's odd that you have what look like someone else's fibro symptoms... you would have thought your body would stick to tried and tested.
It must be horrible though. I hope you get a break from it soon. The only other things I can think of (because I've been watching too much Diagnosis Detectives) is that there's something else weighing on your mind that you've not been conscious of, or an allergy might be a possibility, as suggested by the cheese question... or could it be viral? I hope it slinks off and stops bothering you. x

The frustrating thing about Fibro is that the symptoms vary a lot, they move round the body and change all the time which is why it's so hard to manage. The problem I have is that due to past and present family dynamics to do with my mum and dad I'm constantly under chronic stress, I am not allowed to express my feelings about family problems so they get pushed down all the time, my body then pays the price 😟Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
That must be so difficult OBL. Could you get counselling via work or your GP to help support this?
I know there are also fibro support groups in a few areas.September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x3 -
Hi Nicnak I have had counselling in the past but it didn't really help me,I think it's the ongoing nature of the problems in my family added to personal things that have happened in my life over the years. There's lots of evidence that says past trauma is responsible for lots of chronic conditions. My Fibro symptoms first surfaced when my sister was diagnosed with cancer and subsequently died,I've come to terms with losing my sister but her death badly effected my already fragile family relations, she was the glue that kept everything together and when she died it was like a bomb had gone off in our family. My Mum has never been the same which has allowed my Dad to increase his bullying behaviour. We are not allowed to do anything about this and she won't leave so we !!!!!! foot around them hoping not to upset anyone, add in a sister who won't speak to me at all and one who while she gives the impression of caring actually doesn't come through for anyone when it matters. I was brought up not to show my feelings and to keep up appearances at all costs, I'm an expert at doing this and my body pays the price sadly. I've worked on myself to avoid this happening but sometimes it's just inevitableNicnak said:That must be so difficult OBL. Could you get counselling via work or your GP to help support this?

I'm reading When The Body Says No at the moment and it's mind blowing, I'm convinced that both my sister and mums breast cancer were in part brought on by stress, I never realised how much stress my sister was living with trying to keep the peace in my family until she was no longer here to do it. My mum had an awful early life and so left to marry my dad who turned out to be not a very nice person so she doesn't show her feelings at all and is quite emotionally stunted due to her life experience, one day I will write about my past life as it would probably explain a lot
I tend to avoid Fibro support groups because all the ones I've been in focus on how bad the symptoms are and how useless it is trying to overcome it, I follow people on FB who support the mind body link to this condition and who suggest ways of dealing with it so you can try to live a normal life

Up early today because it's nanny daycare day 😊I managed to get a quick dog walk in before DGS arrived and I've just done a load of washing which I might peg out seeing as the sun has come out, it was chucking it down earlier 🙄 I'm a bit stuck because I'm waiting for a delivery for DD2 and if I'm up the garden I won't hear it
So far we have had breakfast together, looked at all the books, played with the garage and cars and built a tower for him to knock over,he has now fallen asleep on the settee and will hopefully have a good nap if nothing wakes him up 🤞🤞🤞
Im not planning on going anywhere today so we will have to amuse ourselves at home 😊

*Ahem* Admittedly I can't actually see it, but the confident expression on your face gives it away.Onebrokelady said:

As I'm also reading the 'When the body says no', I see what you mean about the onset of your fibro. Perhaps you need a way to 'talk through' what happens as and when you need to. That doesn't necessarily mean an audience. You could just journal about it if that would help.
