Day off today so I've popped into town to get some bits of shopping. I also went into M&S to spend the £10 voucher I got for my birthday,I saw some nice blue stretchy trousers in there a while ago, they are like leggings but thicker, I like them because they have a High very wide waistband and felt really thick, anyway I bought some of those, they were £19.50 and I had a £10 voucher so I only had to pay £9.50 for them, I tried them on when I got home and they look really nice, they are also really comfortable, they are skinny legged ones so will still fit me even if I manage to lose weight.Im seriously tempted to get another pair 😊 seeing as they are so nice
Im not so worried about leaving B now because when I got home today she wasn't in the window and didn't even come to the door when I unlocked it,I walked into the living room and she was fast asleep on the settee without a care in the world 🙄😀
It is also payday today so I have looked at the bank account to work out what I'm doing this month. None of my bills come out yet but I do know how much I've got play with this month😊DD has been paid half her normal wage for this month so she asked me last night if it was ok to pay half her normal rent, I wasn't expecting her to pay me anything this month so I'm happy with that, that money will be going into the house improvement fund 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -
Woke up late this morning after a bad nights sleep, I was kept awake by a neighbours dog barking from 11pm until I don't know when. I had to close my window but was then too hot 😟
I haven't done much yet today apart from take B for a nice long walk through the fields. I wore my waterproof coat because the sky was black when I left the house, it was sunny by the time I got back though. I have pegged out some washing because it's windy so I'm hoping the rain will stay away until it's dry,I managed to get my towels dry by hanging them out overnight 😊
DD paid me this months rent last night so I'm going to transfer that into the house fund later because I don't want it getting mixed up with the money in my current account, I think I'm going to save up and have my floors done first, the kitchen floor needs doing ASAP because there is a hole in one corner we are in danger of falling down, the vinyl floor is the only thing holding us up and it's very bouncy 🙀🙀
I keep being tempted to use the money in the emergency fund and then replace it with saving but knowing my luck the minute I use it something else will come up

Glad it's not just me who thinks new job = new cold!
Glad B was ok when you got home.
I'd get another pair of pants especially if they're comfortable and fit.
Great news about the rent though.
I would think flooring is an emergency. You are a lot more disciplined than me xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x2 -
Persoanlly I don't think flooring is an emergency, because an emergency is the oven or fridge breaking or a burst pipe. It's a good idea to save DD's rent for home improvements

Really annoyed and fed up.Its just taken me about 20 minutes to discover how to actually call virgin media then half an hour on hold only not be told I can't get the broadband only deal for £ 28 a month because it's only for new customers. He then went on to try and get me a better deal which ended up just giving me even more channels I won't watch for more than I'm paying now 😡Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943

Can you ditch them and go elsewhere for your broadband? Are you out of contract? We used to have V!rgin tv a few years ago and it was channels of utter rubbish and repeat after repeat. We've never regretted cancelling them. I'd much rather have N3tfl!xlFinally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

You need to ask to speak to customer retention and make out you’re thinking of going to Sky. You have to hold your nerve and be prepared for them to say ok goodbye though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
