Not wishing to add  an argument but how do you wear masks in a pub or restaurant. People would be constantly putting them on and taking them off to eat and drink. This from what I have read would cause a greater risk than not wearing them at all. Now opening pubs and restaurants is a whole different discussion.
Agree about it being a risk. I Don't know how to word what I'm trying to say as it just sounds wrong when I write it.
It's not feesible to have masks in pubs and restaurants when you're eating and drinking all the time,  butt the risk of catching it  there is the same
as if you're in a shopping centre or shop.

I visited an aged relative by train yesterday (He lives alone and has very few friends nearby to him so I try to get there once a month). It takes over 3 hours and I have to catch 3 different trains and was very surprised that so many young men, and it was entirely young men, who were not wearing masks whilst travelling. The train staff didnt appear make any effort to enquire why which also surprised me.

That's bad, they should have been refused travel.

It's seems to be entirely random as to who wears masks and who doesn't, there are always some people on the bus without a mask and no one says anything, the bus drivers can't police it and I was told that a bus driver was badly beaten up for telling someone they had to wear a mask on his bus

I don't normally have my mask on when I get on the bus and I haven't been refused travel yet, I normally put it on when I sit down and if its just me and the driver I don't wear it at all because I am too far away and they are behind a screen

I think that's why they haven't stipulated wearing them in pubs etc,it would be too risky to keep removing it and putting it back on. I think people could wear them until they are seated though and then take them off
