Glad you got to see your daughter. Even in the rain!
It didn't rain while I was there, it started raining while I was waiting for the bus, luckily there is a bus shelter 😀it rained for the whole bus journey home and then stopped for long enough for me to walk the twenty minutes back to my house 😀

Hi OBL - The mask info was really helpful. Thanks. I have followed your suggestion & now have a bag for putting my used mask in between taking it off in the car & putting it in the washing machine. I have also been experimenting with a double layer of plastic freezer bag inserted into the middle layer pocket of my mask. I reckon it is more comfortable than coffee filter paper because it is more flexible & being plastic, I'm thinking it wouldn't allow droplet contamination through to the next layer of fabric.
Glad you saw your daughter for her birthday.

Is it easy to breathe through with plastic in the middle, I read a tip the other day that suggested using a panty liner as a filter,Im presuming this would work quite well because they are soft and thin and although they keep liquids from leaking out they are usually breathable too 😊

Very nice, pretty good for a first attempt 👍 If we have to wear them why not go for something stylish.

Thanks, it's a bit rough and ready but it will do for me. DD2 has some plain material so I'm going to have a go with that, I can't make too many because I don't have a sewing machine so have to hand stitch, this one took me ages 😀

I haven't seen the A word, everyone says how good it is so will look out for it on catch-up.  Mr SA tends to hog the TV in the living room at night and he only ever wants to watch programmes about hospitals although I did persuade him to watch another episode of Little Fires Everywhere last night. Don't talk to me about polystyrene, I have the stuff - still got loads from my desk packaging, keep slipping it my bin a bit at a time, going to take weeks to get rid of it all.  I did read somewhere that you can break it up and put it at the bottom of garden planters for drainage which is a good idea to make use of it.
