I agree time is flying by right now. I’ve started watching Little Fire Everywhere- good so far. I’ve managed to resist Amazon Prime and Netflix until recently and now I’m like where have they been all my life 🤣

OBL, I've had the exact same problem with underwired bras from the establishment you mention. I have bought this style in various different colours for ages as I like it & they bring out new colours faiely regularly. They used to last a long time... a couple of years before the underwiring started poking through, but on the last two, one of the wires was through in about a month. I mended them, but once a wire is through, it tends to keep happening however toughly I've sewn it. V annoying, anyway.

Yep, they used to last for ages, one of the bras I mended yesterday was on its second repair ,if it keeps happening I will sew some material over it , I will not be thwarted 😂😂

I couldn't watch it in the end because DD has already watched the first episode and now it will only play from the second episode, she is going to try and sort it out for me. I've had Netflix for a few years but I just never used it,now I'm spending more time at home it is coming in handy for those times when I just want to chill out

Hope you have a lovely day at work.
Thank you for posting about removing the masks. I didn't know how to do it so that has helped me incredibly. x

Great news on your new tv, smart tvs are brilliant :).

I watched a video on the BBC website on how to put on and remove a mask and it said to take it off using the elastic and not to touch the bit that covers your face. I've been wearing a decorating mask to the supermarket and when I take it off I pop it into a plastic bag and then gel my hands. I let it stay in the bag for three days before I wear it again.
I've just ordered a washable fabric one with a space for a filter. I'll probably use kitchen towel as a filter because that will be a much cheaper option. As masks are compulsory on public transport and WHO are recommending them now I thought I'd better get a cloth mask as the decorating one is really uncomfortable and messes with my hair 🤣. I think I'll only need two masks as I'm not allowed to wear one at work, so it's only for shops or other indoor spaces where I can't get far enough away from people.

I hope work goes well tomorrow.

Work was very quiet yesterday, we only had one patient all day 🙀I spent the majority of my day in the store cupboard where we keep all our supplies, it was in a mess and I wanted to check the expiry dates on everything, I found lots of out of date items that will now be sent to a third world country to be used by healthcare charities.

Today has had been a mixed day weather wise, I woke up to sun which was fortunate because I went to DD1s house for lunch and we wouldn't have been able to do it in the rain, then just as I left it started raining, I only had to wait five minutes for the bus home which was lucky because just after it arrived it absolutely chucked it down 😊
Its DD1s birthday today and she was spending it all day on her own working from home, so I suggested I visited for her lunch break 😀we had a nice chat and I got to see the improvements to the garden that DSIL has been doing during lockdown, he has gone back to work  now and both DGSs were at nursery so I didn't see them today 😟not that I can really because they wouldn't understand social distancing 😟

As soon as I got home the sun came back out, Ive let the 🐓🐓out for a pootle round the garden and now I'm just catching up on here, I'm going to have a go at making a mask in a bit, should be fun 😀

Hi OBL - The mask info was really helpful. Thanks. I have followed your suggestion & now have a bag for putting my used mask in between taking it off in the car & putting it in the washing machine. I have also been experimenting with a double layer of plastic freezer bag inserted into the middle layer pocket of my mask. I reckon it is more comfortable than coffee filter paper because it is more flexible & being plastic, I'm thinking it wouldn't allow droplet contamination through to the next layer of fabric.
Glad you saw your daughter for her birthday.
