We have had a lovely day here today. First there was DD being told she had been successful in her interview, we actually danced round the living room 😂 then it was present time, I have been thoroughly spoilt DD surprised me by refusing to let me contribute to the Kindle, I was supposed to be putting money towards it but she told me she wants to buy it, I did argue the case and said I would just transfer some money to her bank but she said she would just transfer it back again.
DD1 and family bought me a lovely gift hamper from a company called Don't Buy Her Flowers.com, I haven't heard of them before but it's such a good idea, they make up hampers for different occasions and you pick the things that go in them. There was a book I've been waiting to read called The Binding, a puzzle book, Montezuma chocolate buttons, some posh hot chocolate, chocolate biscuits and a candle that smells gorgeous,it's called. Black Oud. I had Money from my Mum and Dad and my friend gave me a lovely candle holder with a gift voucher. I am feeling very grateful and very spoilt today 😀
DD and myself have been out in the garden for most of the day making sure it's tidy for later when DD1 comes round. We cleaned and painted the top of the patio table and swept the patio and I've put the old empty plant pots I'm not using at the top of the garden by the shed, they will end up being used at some point but for now they are out of the way. If the weather stays dry I will clean and paint the patio chairs and the table legs in the week while I'm off, it's been really hot and sunny all day but is now cooling down and getting a bit cloudy. It normally rains on my birthday but I'm hoping we will get away with it today so we can sit outside later
Im really looking forward to seeing DD1 because I haven't seen her since March the 17th 🙀 I will have to fight the urge to give her a hug though 😟 just being able to chat in person will be good though
Right I've finished my coffee so had better get back to the tidying,I just have one more pile of things to move and it's all done 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -
