I read about what was happening on your quayside and I was surprised as I always thought your town was very respectable. It is a bit frightening that some people still don't get it with the social distancing and safety 😞. Those people being evacuated off that beach in Dorset weren't exactly social distancing were they? And the people protesting in London and other places weren't either (I have sympathy for why they were protesting but they may all be spreading the virus).
These are frightening times but all we can do is try to look after ourselves and our families. We have no control over what other people do sadly.
I am comforting myself with things the fact that my family are sensible people and I'm just going to do my best to stay out of other people's way, it's a bit difficult on the bus but I do appreciate that the bus company is doing it's best at the momentOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -

Currently sitting downstairs trying to be quiet while DD has her interview upstairs, we are not sure now if this will be a waste of time because she discovered last night that it states you need a driving license as part of the rotation is in the community, she emailed them to say she hasn't got a license yet but was intending to learn to drive as soon as she got a job and that obviously at the moment there is no way to get driving lessons. They got back to her to say they wanted to interview her anyway and will talk to HR about the need for a driving license afterwards
The rotations for these jobs are 6 months long and there are at least 7 different departments to rotate to, so she could actually learn to drive and get a license before she does her community rotation
I really hope it doesn't stand in her way because that would be such a shame after she has worked so hardOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -

Oh dear, poor DD thinks the interview went badly😟 she felt like she didn't answer the questions appropriately. We will just have to wait until tomorrow morning to see what they think.
We decided to walk into town to take her mind off things and we needed some bits for tomorrow. We usually go out for a meal on birthdays but we can't so we decided we would do a barbecue tea, I'm hoping DD 1 will be able to come round as there is plenty of space to sit apart on our patio. We were going to go for a walk but changed our minds because it's not safe.
I was very surprised to find most of the shops in town were actually still closed, the only extra one that was open was H&M 😊 town was actually not busy at all but it's a lovely day so I expect those not at school or work would be at the beach or out and about elsewhereOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
What a shame. I hope the interview went better than DD thought. It's good interview experience anyway and will give her ideas on what questions to prepare for another time. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
