My journey to a debt free life

I'm off today and don't actually have to go and get any supplies for anyone from anywhere, the pets are all sorted and the 🐓🐓have go everything they need to keep them happy ,it's a dull grey possibly rainy day here so perfect for being indoors reading or sewing
I've just been very naughty and been on a shopping spree,I bought two books for my kindle app, one was 99p and is a lighthearted fiction or chick lit book which I think will cheer me up and provide some relief from the horrible news we are all surrounded by, the other is a memoir about a lady who decided to relocate to Devon and buy a run down cottage to renovate for her to live in ,it turns out she bit off slightly more than she thought she could chew, the book is about her journey and is set over each different season,I love things like this, it was £4.99 so not the cheapest but not too bed either, then because of my expanding waistline I ordered some straight legged jogging pants from M&S,I normally wear skinny jeans which are quite stretchy but the ones I've got now were bought when I was 9st 10lbs I am now 10st 8lbs and while they still fit and actually surprisingly still feel comfy they are tight on my legs, I'm not sure if this is contributing to the leg pain I've been getting, today I am lounging around in a lovely soft pair of pj bottoms and my legs feel ok so far, so I decided to try these instead, I bought two pairs because I will possibly also use them for when I walk to and from work if they look nice, I'm continuing to walk and wear trainers to work so they will look like workout clothes and be easier and quicker to change into than tight jeans,I've bought the size I need for when I'm at my best weight because I didn't want to go bigger and put more weight on,in the meantime I need to concentrate on losing some weight so my jeans are so tight 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
Glad you had a good day at work 😁I live in skinny jeans when I'm not at work. I like M&S jeggings they are so comfy. At least you've got an incentive to lose weight and great idea to buy your best weight size as it would be too tempting not to bother. The sun has just come out here after a grey showery morning.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Glad work was good today, OBL. It makes such a difference.
I think one of the problems with deliveries is the social distancing. Our part of the village usually has one van with two posties & one whizzes around with all the bigger parcels & packets on a little trolley gizmo while the other one does the letters. I think it's the same issue as with the refuse collectors......social distancing rules mean it is difficult to have multiple people in a vehicle. So that might be part of the issue. Also, I expect some of the workforce are off poorly or isolating. I love getting post & managed to have an 'across the length of the drive' chat with our regular postie the other day. I asked him if current local working conditions are safe re Covid & he said it is all much, much better than it was. Initially, he said they had no hand sanitizer, there was no social distancing as they're not set up to work like that, but safety measures had been put in place since then & he was much happier now, & thanked me for asking. I said I just feel grateful still to be able to receive post as it is defo a link with the outside world atm & thanked him for carrying on working.
I've heard that some online companies are no longer able to stick to their usual fast delivery times. I think a lot of us will just feel grateful for anything at the moment, won't we? It's just that thing of a few aspects of life still feeling almost 'normal', when really nothing is.

I am so so grateful for my postie. Going to get him a thank you card I think. We have a regular one I speak to quite a bit. He isn't too happy with how it is all going atm, but his wife is off work so know he is struggling with the mentality of at least he's earning, but at what cost? I know while he is on his roun he feels safe, but it's all the other stuff and they are short staffed too.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉4

The joggers I've bought will be easier to change into after work, I get very hot and sweaty at work so trying to persuade a pair of too small skinny jeans over my expanded bum is just not pleasant 😂 it will also be better for walking home inOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -

Another good day at work yesterday apart from one of our pregnant staff members accidentally coming into contact with a positive patient who we routinely tested,we are testing all inpatients now and we wouldn't have suspected her of having it because she had come in for something else and had no symptoms 😟 I swapped to work in her area so it didn't have a chance of happening again and I found out yesterday that I have been in contact with a colleague who was subsequently off after testing positive, I haven't had an email though I only found out because she told me herself yesterday, I actually think if they tested the staff a lot would be positive and not even know, they won't test us unless we get symptoms though because they don't want us to be off sick
Anyway I promised I wouldn't talk about work anymore so let's change the subject
Today I am feeling full of energy so I have plans to do housey things, so far I've stripped me bed and washed the bedding, that's now on the line,I've got another load in the machine so will peg that out when it's done, I've taken B for a walk,I've cleaned and tidied the kitchen and polished the living room,I've just stopped for a coffee then im going to hoover everywhere, later on I'm going to do some more sewing
Virgin tv have given me some extra channels for a month so tonight I'm going to watch a new drama on Fox to see what it's like, it's a supernatural one so might be a bit scarey for me but I will give it a go and see
Forgot to say the sun is shining here today but it's quite windy, so good weather for drying washing but possibly not warm enough to sit out inOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
I hope you stay safe at work OBL.
I'm a bit worried about bringing the infection home from school (although I know school is a lot safer than a hospital). One of the teachers says she wears crocs and washes them when she gets home, takes a cloth bag instead of a handbag so she can put it in the washing machine every day and take her clothes off as soon as she gets inside the front door! I do change as soon as I get home and wear clean clothes every day and today I wiped over my handbag and the contents with an antibac wipe. But I think I'll copy her idea of using a cloth bag as a handbag. I also wash my hair every evening when I'm at school, instead of my normal twice a week. I wiped the door handles too with an antibac wipe after I got home. Is there any infection control that I'm missing?
You've got loads of housework and washing done today. I think when the sun is shining we feel more motivated to do things.

Ive got loads done today,we bought some new vitamins from H&B online and they have a large amount of iron in them,I've been taking them for a few days so I'm wondering if that's why my energy levels have gone up, they actually smell and taste disgusting but if they work I will take them, they are for vegans so contain a big range of B vits as well which is also good for energy ,I have chronic anaemia of unknown cause so should take iron tablets all the time but they make me feel sick so I don't take them, these vitamins seem to be ok thoughOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945
