It's lovely when you have a normal day and that you were able to put it to the back of your minds. I used to wait until the time the death rate came out and checked it religiously until I saw it, but I decided to stop doing that as it wasn't making me feel better so totally get why you have stopped watching the news.

    Have a lovely day. x

Current advice I believe is that anti bac does not kill the virus. Use disinfectant. diluted bleach or sanitiser. All after wiping area/item with soap. (I assume a soapy solution would work eg washing up liquid).

Soap is the best for your hands for sure, I use disinfectant on everything else,I'm damp dusting my house with water and disinfectant at the moment with the odd polish thrown in to feed the wood on my coffee table and TV cabinet, they are solid oak and I'm not sure if constantly damp dusting them would damage to wood

  • Glad the police helicopter was nothing to worry about.
What disinfectant do you use for home cleaning and do you dilute it?
    Have a good day :).

    Sending hugs.

Re vegetable protein - it's easier to get than used to be believed as the body holds onto the amino acids needed to build it over a longer time than was understood previously, so it can amalgamate them over a while, they don't all need to be taken at the same meal. Hope that makes sense! There are quite a few resources online, but you will know things like beans and lentils are a good start.
That makes sense, I don't like lentils or beans apart from baked beans and I have to be in the mood to eat them, if this carries on I'm going to bu some vegetarian protein powder to be made into a drink
Nuts? Peanut butter? Peas? Protein powder might be good to have in though, even just for when you are tired and need something that has food value but is quick and easy.
Do you eat eggs? I can't remember if you're vegan.
I do eat nuts but not often because they are quite pricey,I like peanut butter but have to be in the mood for it,I do like a peanut butter and a banana sandwhich 😀 I love peas and eat them a lot and erm I do eat eggs too 🐓🐓🐓😂😂😂 I am going to up my nut intake and have more eggs as a stopgap but I might buy some protein powder if this carries on

How very sad about the murder, it will be one of those things you don't forget.
We had a lot of police around here yesterday: apparently this was also someone on the run, but I don't think the whole county has as many police vehicles as we counted, so I think it was about three keeping going round the block. They were probably dizzy from all the circling. No helicopter though and it all went quiet eventually so presumably either they caught the person or gave up.
On Saturday there was the helicopter about five or six cars a van and some sniffer dogs wandering around 🙀

The helicopter was out looking for a teenage boy who had threatened to kill himself 😟he was found safe and well 😊

Im being very naughty today because I've just been out for a walk for an hour and a half and I've already been out for about 15 minutes with B, do you know what I don't even care,I've stuck to the rules the whole time while watching others not bother and I'm now rebelling

DD wanted to go for an hours exercise but doesn't like to go out on our country lanes by herself, this is fallout from the murder I talked about earlier, the girl who was murdered was someone my DD knew so she is very conscious of how safe things are, anyway I said I would go with her

We went up through the fields and then went to explore along the country lane that runs behind, we have never been down there before and it's such a lovely walk, we also discovered a public bridle path that I never knew existed, it's very steep and we only went down a short way but I'm interested to see where it ends or begins depending on which direction you come from, our end is a steep downhill walk that anyone on a horse would probably choose not to ride down, it's perfect for riding up though and all the hoof prints point in the upwards direction, this leads me to believe it's on a circular route of some sort, we are going to go back to have another look as soon as we get chance, there is a livery yard on that road and there's also two people with horses behind my house and I've always wondered where they went to ride, obviously they can ride on the road but most people like to get off the road if possible, now the mystery is solved 😊 so when I retire and buy a horse I will have somewhere to ride it 😀( just joking about the horse, there's no way I could afford that 😟)

Ive lived here for over 20 years and have never been on this walk, it also leads to two places I've never heard of before despite them being practically next door, we also didn't see any other people while we are out so social distancing was easy peasy 😊maybe lockdown is good for trying new things and going off the beaten track

I haven't been out and done any bits in the garden yet today though because I was too tired after the walk ,I was going to strim the front lawn but then remembered I haven't got any of the little plastic blades that I need for my strimmer, I've now ordered some from Amazon so will have to wait for them to arrive ( at least I've got a proper excuse now 😂)
I am going up into the loft in a bit though because I need to put the camping chairs back up there and the storage box DDs hamster was in, it's massive but I have plans for it.

A couple of years ago we had a leak in the roof one Christmas,I think I might have posted about it here somewhere ,anyway as an emergency measure I put a shallow plastic storage box under the leak and fully intended to get it fixed, weirdly despite having vast amounts of rain it's never leaked since, anyway I need the shallow box to store DGS cars etc in so I'm going to swap it with the big box that's in the spare room, this will free up lots of space and will give me some lovely storage for toys that are currently in plastic bags in the spare room
