The situation at work is as follows ,some staff have received emails saying they have been in contact with a person who has tested positive, they had contact just over two weeks ago and got the emails a couple of days ago, the email tells them to keep an eye out for symptoms but mentions nothing about self isolating, we asked for this to be clarified today and as of now we have heard nothing back about it, apparently self isolation doesn't apply to us unless we get symptoms, let's just hope none of us are asymptomatic then 😡and emailing people and telling them to look out for symptoms over two weeks after contact is a bit of a waste of time to be honest ,it seems that yet again NHS staff are being treated differently to the general public, we can't do anything about this because we are banned from talking about it to anyone,I'm only writing this here because it's anonymous
I feel like we aren't being told the whole story, the government are lying through their teeth about PPE so what else are they not coming clean about, the whole affair is very shoddily run and as far as my employer and the government go I have lost all faith in the fact that they are doing right by NHS staff, of course I cant say this anywhere because I would be disciplined and at risk of losing my job
I won't be talking about it anymore because it's making me too angry,I can't do anything about it and can't change anything so I will just carry on and hope none of use are put at risk
After this post my dairy will be about my life outside of work, because I can't deal with work at the moment so the less time I spend discussing it the betterOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
Today something exciting happened .........my new garden chairs arrived, we tried one out in the living room and it's very comfy,I reckon I could fall asleep quite easily 😀I just need the warm weather to come back now 😊
I was supposed to go food shopping on Monday but postponed it to Tuesday but then decided to get the chicken supplies instead ( it's much more important that they get fed or all hell will break lose 😀) so I am now going shopping tomorrow, I'm hoping to be able to find the rare Quorn products that I normally buy but if not I might buy root veg and make a curry,I'm just a bit worried because I'm not getting enough protein without the Quorn meat,I need to find a substitute if this is going to carry on
I also noticed last time I was in town that Wilkos is open so I'm going to go in and see if I can get some worms for the 🐓🐓 and a cheeky bag of compost,I might not be allowed because it's not really essential,I will have to persuade them that worms are essential to chickens 😀

Hi, OBL.
The work thing is awful. You are stuck between government guidance and NHS guidance as well.
Great news about the chairs. It is lovely here today so hopefully it will brighten up enough for you to get out in the garden with them.
I am sure if you explain you have chickens, they will let you get the worms as pet shops are allowed to open as well. You could also say the compost is for them to dig around in to keep them entertained. Plus, planting and keeping going is actually good for mental health. I know it has helped me the last few days. x

Im really happy with my chairs, I've never had nice chairs to sunbathe in before 😊sadly the weather is not cooperating as it's really cold here today,I'm consoling myself with the thought that warmer days will be back and in the meantime I can carry on and tidy more of the garden, that's a good idea about saying the compost is for the chickens 😀xOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
I actually didn't feel tired when I woke up at 8.30 this morning so I got up,I normally go back to sleep for another couple of hours, today the plan is to go shopping, have a tidy round the house and do some sewing if I have time later
Its really cold here today,I had to put my heating on for a bit 🙀 I'm hoping the weather will warm up again soon so I can sit in my garden again, in the meantime I've still got tidying to do so lots to keep me busy 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -

Re vegetable protein - it's easier to get than used to be believed as the body holds onto the amino acids needed to build it over a longer time than was understood previously, so it can amalgamate them over a while, they don't all need to be taken at the same meal. Hope that makes sense! There are quite a few resources online, but you will know things like beans and lentils are a good start.

Well we got most of our shopping apart from Quorn chicken pieces,I'm not sure what's going on there but they haven't had any for weeks, they did have a bag of sausages though and the nut cutlets that I like, apart from bread I should be ok for a while now
I didn't get any compost though because the shopping trolley was too full of food
I'm just sitting and having a cup of tea before tacking some tidying, I'm in a lot of pain today so won't be able to do too much but feel like I should try and do something, my hands are hurting a lot this afternoon which is annoyingOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944
