I could only byt a small box of tea last time I went shoppoing a bit rediculous when people are at home more. There was no empty space on the shelf. Hoping this is just temporary. Large size packets of cornflakes and bags of frozen peas have also disappeared. All these are Mr S own brand so is it just part of their store choice reduction. However it does mean I have to shop more frequently for these items.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

I experienced the opposite and could only get 4 pints of milk when I only wanted 1. There’s only Mr SA has milk in our house. It’s like when they were limiting the amount of items you could buy. Why go more than once if you can get it all in one go then stay away. I believe these restrictions have now been lifted though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I'm lucky I get a milk delivery weekly and can get it all. I don't have much though so couldn't imagine having to feed a family in this climate xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I had plans to do some sewing today but haven't done any, I got up late because I was shattered ,we took B for a walk and combined that with a trip to our local Mr T , I got some washing done and pegged out so that's waiting to be ironed and I cleaned out then🐓🐓and that's all I've got done today, I've just lounged on the settee all day fighting the urge to go back to bed TOMORROW IM GOING TO DO SOME SEWING 😀
I also had to phone work today because I got a message to say the matrons needed to know if any staff have a latex allergy,I have quite a severe allergy to latex so phoned to remind them, apparently some of the PPE we use isn't safe for people with a latex allergy so they are having to find alternatives, the matron I spoke to thinks it's mainly the PPE that we wear if there is a patient that needs resuscitation,we have also had to change our resus practice, normally you would just go straight in and start BLS but we now aren't allowed,we have to put full PPE on first 🙀so one person is allowed to go straight into the patient and start BLS with just a mask and gloves on and while that's happening the people nominated to do resus will be donning their PPE,they take over once they are dressed and the first responder has to leave and immediately shower and change their clothes because they are likely to be covered in virus ,the doctors timed themselves getting their PPE on and it took 5 minutes which is a long time in a resus situation, they have been running simulations all week and have managed to get the time down to just under 3 minutes which is a lot better
I have to say we don't get lots of patients who need resuscitating but we have had a few in the past who have stopped breathing for various reasons so you have to be prepared for all eventualities, luckily I'm the lowest qualified so I'm normally the person who is running round passing equipment rather than dealing with the patient, we are all trained though just in case we are the first ones to get to the patientOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8946 -
That sounds so scary OBL. I know it is what you are dealing with everyday, but first in doing resus sounds like a challenge on your own especially for 3 minutes.
Have a lovely day x

Today I actually got up before 10am 🎉🎉I still haven't achieved much though,I had to go to the pet shop for chicken corn so combined that with Bs walk, we went along the river which was refreshing due to the wind but we caught the bus back,B is struggling with long distances now she is getting older, she starts off ok but gets slower and slower as the walk goes on so I have to be careful not to take her too far,I did treat her to a box of gravy bones as well 😊
DD ordered some red hair dye which arrived today so I've just dyed her hair for her, it looks really nice, she had a bit of a melt down today so needed cheering up
My legs are really painful again today, they were bad last night so I took some codeine which did help but I've just had to take two more because I was in a lot of pain,I'm putting it down to the current situation that we all find ourselves in, typically if I am going through any kind of mental stress my body reacts with a Fibromyalgia flare up, even if I feel ok mentally my body will tell the actual truth, it's like a barometer of my feelings so I know if I'm in pain I'm not coping well, it's useful though because although it's not pleasant to be in pain it's alerting me to the fact that I need to take care of my mental health
Im now trying to not engage in too many discussions about the current situation, they mostly end up in arguments which stresses me out,I'm thinking my actual life hasn't changed too much really,I still do the same things at home that I've always done, I'm still going to work which has calmed down now, there is a feeling at work that we are in our new normality for a while so things are feeling a bit more settled, stuff keeps changing everyday still but it's not big changes so I can cope with that,I've done my first shift on the hot side of the ward and it was ok so I'm feeling confident that I can cope now
I seem to have spent the last few weeks while in lockdown in some sort of suspended animation and not being able to move forwards with anything, today I've realised I need to get myself out of this state and carry on as normal, I have plenty of hobbies to keep me busy while I'm at home so I intend to crack on with them and try to make the most of my days off
I am intending to either do some sewing or read my book later, the codeine I've taken has made me really dizzy so sewing might be a challenge until later on but I can sit and read 😊

The way you describe your legs is how mine have felt the past few nights. They have been keeping me awake for hours . I have cancelled the rest of my leave this week, one to help out , but the other is because I need the routine to help me get through this. Are you sewing anything in particular ?
Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4 -
I think it's a good idea to try and get into a more normal mindset. Reading or watching the news is very stressful. As you say your own life hasn't changed that much as you're still at work, still earning money, etc. So try and focus on normal things as much as possible. I do think having a regular daily routine is very good for mental health. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
