I love hearing about your chickens. Someone at work keeps them and rescues them from battery farms. She calls them her 'girls'.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I hope your work went okay... I hear we are going to be living in masks at work too. I don't do very well with decorating masks even so I'm not sure what it will be like.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Work went ok yesterday but we still have to wear masks, it's not very nice working with a mask on and it was making my face itch so I kept touching my face 😳 this kind of defeats the object of wearing it in the first place, last night when I got in bed it felt like I was still wearing it, I could feel where the ties went and the metal strip that goes over your nose 😟
We also now have to fill out a form each day to say which patients we have had contact with,it's so they can do contact tracing if either we or they get the virus, we also had to make sure our emergency contact and or next of kin details were up to date on our work records 😳
Today I had to get up and out to get some shopping for my Mum and Dad, it was just a few bits they had run out of, it was nice to see them and make sure they were ok,I chatted to them through the patio doors 😀they are a bit bored but seemed ok, I'm thinking of ordering them a couple of puzzle books and something to read from amazon as a little surprise
I didn't like going into town, every time I go out to get something I feel like I should be at home, town was deserted though so that was a good thing,I realised today I forgot my son in-laws birthday yesterday so I also got him a card while I was in Mr S, it will be late but it's better then nothing
Apart from going to do shopping I haven't done much else, just tidied the kitchen and cleaned out the 🐓🐓Im really tired today so I'm chilling out, I had to walk all the way home last night and my hips are hurting now so I thought I'd better not overdo it today
Tomorrow I'm on a long day,I normally do a late on Wednesday but there's no clinic so a long day tomorrow and then an early on Friday when I will get to finish at 3.30 🎉🎉 it's Good Friday so the buses will be a Sunday service and I might end up walking home again but that would be quite nice if the suns shining
I still haven't done my banking so I might do that in a minute,I don't want to lose track of my budget while all this is going on, then I had better cook something to eat for the next four days,I've got fake mince out of the freezer so will do a spag Bol which will last me until Friday

Glad work wasn't too bad. I know wearing the mask isn't great, but glad you got through it.
I went out for a walk in the sun today, and it was lovely. I know walking home isn't ideal, but if it's in the sun, then it will be a lot nicer than in the rain.
Have a good day tomorrow. Hopefully it will go quickly. x

It sounds horrible wearing the mask but hopefully you'll get used to it eventually. I wore a decorators mask in the supermarket today and it was quite uncomfortable so it must be hard wearing one all day.
Getting food for your parents is a legitimate reason to be out and about.

I'm reporting from my garden chair today 😊 we only have camping chairs so I got them out the loft this morning and I've got my feet up on a cushion on one of the patio chairs,I have been a bit naughty though because my chair isn't the most comfortable so I went online and bought two reclining chairs from Mountain Warehouse, they were £30 each in the sale 😊they recline into a lying position so I can get really comfy and have a snooze in the garden if I want to 😀I need a chair with a leg rest so these will be ideal, of course I had to get DD2 one as well 😊
I haven't done much today apart from walking B round the block and some washing,I'm not feeling great because of an increase in pain,I suspect it's the extra walking I've been doing 😟 I thought I was going to have to take the day off work yesterday because I kept waking up the night before in lots of pain but I took a couple of codeine tablets at 3.30 am which worked,I woke up at 5.30 and felt ok for work so I carried on and went in,I did have to take more painkillers through the day but managed to get to the end of my shift luckily

Sorry you're not feeling great. How long does it take you to walk home from work? I don't blame you for not wanting to catch buses at the moment as they seem like petri dishes on wheels to me 😱. It takes me an hour to walk home,it's not too bad after a short shift but when you've been at work for 12.5 hours walking home is the last thing on your mind,it doesn't help that I have to walk up two massive hills to get to my house either,I'm getting the bus in in the morning but they have changed the bus service to a Sunday service so the bus is too late for when I leave work, the bus leaves the hospital at 20.18 and I usually get to town by then,my next bus isn't until 21.00 though so it would mean waiting in town until then,it's quicker to jut walk although it not doing me a lot of goodOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944
