Our ward is really warm on a cool day but as the weather warms up it regularly gets up to 24 degrees, there is no way we can work for four hours without having access to a cold drink,I normally have a cold drink at least every hour during a typical shiftOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
I hope so too. Those directors sit there and make decisions without actually understanding the consequences of them sometimes. Unless people speak up, then everyone will assume it is ok.

It's a lovely day here,I've taken B out and cleaned the 🐓🐓out as well as getting one load of washing done and pegged out, I've got another load on the go in the machine and now I'm just having a coffee
Sadly the painting of the patio table is going to have to wait because I have done something to one of the muscles around my left shoulder blade 😟 I am going to go into the loft though so I can get the deck chairs down,Then i can at least sit on the patio and read, sew or knit, my wool hasn't arrived yet so I can't start on my sock project yet, I'm going to do some sewing in a bit instead in an attempt to get that finished before the wool turns up 😊

That is a tall order re working in a hot environment & not being allowed to have a drink of water for 4 hours, OBL. I'm presuming that the management rationale is that it will economise on number of masks used? Am I right in assuming that once they're removed for a drink after 4 hours, they'd be thrown away?
The muscle group I badly pulled the other week was around the top of my shoulder blade right up to my neck - I did it getting into all sorts of contortions while I was scrubbing the greenhouse - it hurt for a whole week. It did get a little better each day but it can be surprising how much pulled muscles can hurt......I think we're at a funny age!

We have also been told that we must make sure we don't touch our faces, after I put my mask on yesterday I kept touching my face because I was hot and itchy 😟
The muscle I hurt was the one that goes down from the shoulder blade and around your side by your ribs at the back,I think it was due to some work I did yesterday that was quite repetitive, it felt more like it had gone into a spasm rather then being pulled,I took some brufen and it has gone now, I even managed to spend an hour in the garden this evening 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
I do hope they change their minds about you not being able to drink water for four hours, I feel as though that must be against your human rights when you're working in a hot environment 😡.
I hope your pulled muscle gets better soon. Mine felt better yesterday, so it took about five days to heal but it got a little better each day. The first day my side was painful and it seem to cause pain down my leg too when I moved it, but by the second day it was only my side that hurt. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Well my plans changed again,I took some brufen for the muscle pain and it worked really well, I ended up going and doing a few bits out in the garden,I had a big trug full of chicken poop leaves and sawdust that I cleaned out of the 🐓🐓run last year,it's been gently cooking in the garden since then ,anyway it had turned into a lovely looking compost so I took it out the front and put it into the raised bed that I'm using to grow things in,it looked really rich and added another layer of yummy plant goodness to the bed,I also cleared out a few pots that had old stalks in them,I was going to throw the spent compost on the garden but I've just remembered 🐓🐓could do with a new dust bath so I will give it to them to use instead, they are messy and do poo in the dust bath so I have to clean it out regularly,I will then throw it on the garden when it will be enriched with poop 😊
I'm glad I got out into the garden even if it wasn't to do what I had planned,I felt better for having got some fresh air and a bit of sun on my skin, my shoulder is not hurting at all now so I reckon it was a muscle spasm so hopefully that won't come back
I didn't manage to get in the loft today but I am definitely going to get up there tomorrow so I can get my deckchairs down, although it was sunny today it wasn't warm enough to sit out in the garden, it was ok if you were moving around though
