I've had a pleasant afternoon/ early evening doing some sewing and I'm really enjoying stitching it, it's a lovely design and not too complicated so I don't have to concentrate too much,I've also read some of my book ,I joined the Good Reads book challenge today,I've only set my target at 12 books for the year because that is one a month which is probably a bit low for the amount i read but I've never tracked it before so thought I would start low
I'm also doing another idea this year, you get a jar with a lid and every time something nice happens you write it on a slip of paper and put it in the jar then next New Year's Eve you empty it out and read back on all the positive things that happened in your life in the previous year,it doesn't have to be big things either just anything that made you happy or smile
Right now I'm just going to hang up the washing that's just finished in the machine then I'm going to bed,I am feeling really tired this evening so I'm hoping that's means I will sleep wellOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -
I read that OBL and also thought it was a good idea, but know I would forget to do it.
I do have two jars though. I have written a number 1 on all of them and every time I pay off 1% of my debt, I put it in the other jar. It started off with nothing in the other jar, but now I have more in the paid off than I do in the owe. That really motivates me. Every month, little one helps to put the 1 in the other jar. I did get the idea from someone on here. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Wow can't believe we are at the end of another week, work was really nice and relaxed today,I was nearly late getting up though because when I set my alarm last night I set it for 07.50 instead of 06.50 🙀luckily I woke up naturally and checked the time so was only 5 minutes late getting up
I am happy to report that I think my appetite is definitely on its way back, however I haven't eaten anything healthy but have been working my way through the chocolates that haven't been eaten yet, tomorrow I'm thinking I will make a cottage pie and I have some broccoli that I need to eat, so that will keep me in meals for 4 days, hopefully I will still feel like eating tomorrow so can have that for my tea
Apart from going to work I haven't done anything else today,I did finish my book when I got home,I really enjoyed the story so will keep an eye out for the author in the future
I'm off again tomorrow and I have vague plans for taking the Christmas decorations down,I really don't want to though as I hate it when they all go back in the loft, everywhere looks so bare
I also need to go and buy chicken feed tomorrow so will walk along the river with the dog to my local pet shop to buy that then we can get the bus back, it kills two birds with one stone getting her walk in and a shopping trip at the same time 😊
My bedroom also needs a tidy and clean so I might do that tomorrow as well,I am definitely changing my duvet but would also like to have a good tidy up and polish everywhere,it depends on how energetic I feel when I get back from the pet shop
If I have enough time I will do some more sewing in the evening,DD1 has said she likes the Christmas decoration I'm making so I'm thinking I might sew another one for her for Christmas next year, imagine getting my first Christmas present done in January/ February :rotfl:Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -

It's well worth making Christmas presents all year round, OBL. Although my main knitting project atm is an intricate traditional fisherman's jumper, I also have a pair of socks cast on. I like a simple project I can do while watching things with subtitles on TV. My jumper has 324 stitches to each round, so that's a nightmare to unravel if I make a mistake. We are so far from next Christmas there's no pressure to hurry the socks, but when they're finished, they will be going in the presents bag for a b-in-law.

I'm glad your appetitie is finally coming back OBL. It's been about two weeks since you had the tummy bug isn't it? I still don't feel right and it's been a week since I was struck down.
I hate taking the Christmas decorations down too as it does make the house look bare, but I get used to it after a couple of days. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Hopefully I will be starting my sock knitting this year ,I also have a yearning to knit myself a nice cable knit jumper, but this would involve buying wool so it's not happening yetOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -
