I came home slightly early last night because I didn't feel too good, the lurgy is still lurking and I'm still not sure which way it's going to go
I woke up in the night feeling awful but didn't feel too bad today,I went to meet my mum for lunch but started to feel ill when I got home later on,I've got a sore throat and slightly runny nose now,I've got work tomorrow so I'm hoping it doesn't get worse tonight

In other news I decluttered more bits today,I took three games we no longer play, all my fridge magnets,a glass decanter,a storage basket and some more books to the charity shop

When I got home I also attached the new loo roll holder to the side of the cupboard so it's not sitting on the side for weeks on end

I'm just chilling out now and catching up on here for a bit,I might try and get an early night tonight and hope it helps me not get too ill,at the moment I feel like I've been run over by a truck,my body doesn't cope well with illness on top of Fibro 😢

  • Oh dear sorry you feel ill, a sore throat and a runny nose are not good signs :(. Have you got any eccinchea you can take to try and ward it off? I would go for the early night as I get a sore throat when I'm tired sometimes and a good sleep can get rid of it often.

Well done on the declutttering, your house will look like a minimalist haven soon :). I don't seem to have fitted in any decluttering this week, so I need to follow your example and get on it :).

Thanks Hairy,I always have Echinacea in the house so I'm dosing myself up with that,I'm hoping it will be enough to at least stop this from getting too bad, last year around this time was when I got a nasty chest infection and I think it's the only time I haven't used it so I won't be making that mistake again,I didn't get enough doses in yesterday because I forgot to take it to to work but I will take it with me tomorrow

The decluttering is going really well,I keep finding things that can be got rid of and my aim is to take a bag of stuff every time I go out where there is a charity shop,I wasn't going to take anything today but I saw the games under the coffee table while I was having g a cup of tea and before I knew it I I had another bag full,I also nearly swiped a hanging ornament from the hall on my way out the door but it needed dusting and I didn't have time so I had to put it back for next time :rotfl:

My goodness, nothing's safe in your house! :D If it were me those things would still be gathering dust.

I hope the echinacea helps. Plenty of fluid too... get well soon.

  • Hi, Ive signed you to a dmp with stepchange and now having read all the post about lloyds realised that might not be the right course. Most of my debt is with lloyds and im sure they wont stop the interest as other have experienced. Would it be better to only make a token payment and let them send the debt to collectors and how long will it take? I hear debt collectors will freeze interest so might be better than trying to go for years writing to lloyds.
  • My lurgy is finally here properly. All bunged up and coughing. Hope your holds off.

My decluttering has stopped completely. Just not up to it.
