If you renew your library book by phone you could save some energy and reward yourself with a sit-down (while painting the doll's house furniture. of course).
Hope you feel better soon - doing ceilings is guaranteed to be hard on the arms.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

I had to take it back because I had finished it and t was cluttering up my room:rotfl:
I think this is probably why I've put off doing the ceiling for so long,I hate doing them because I know how hard it is on the arms, not to mention all the paint I tend to get in my hair,I had started wearing a shower cap when painting ceilings but don't have one nowOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -

I have such a backlog of jobs that need doing so it's about time I made a start,I think the decluttering has spurred me on to get things done,I'm not usually this energetic so I'm ma,I g the most of it before it disappears :rotfl:Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
Yay I got all the jobs in my list done today so I'm a happy bunny,I also forgot to add cleaning out the chickens to the list,I got that done as well and while I was out in the garden I cleaned the trays on the bird feeding station I have in the back garden and refilled it all,I have a couple of little robins who like to visit the garden so I've put some treats out for them,I need a new bird feeder though as the squirrels have destroyed the one that was on there,I will have to try and find a squirrel proof one, they had some in wilkooos today but gaps for the birds to get through looked tiny so I didn't buy one
The hob got an unscheduled clean this evening too because when I was dishing up the tea I managed to knock a whole pan of gravy all over the cooker top,DD had to quickly make some more gravy while I tried to stop the spillage from going into the cutlery drawer
I've now got a second load of washing in the machine that I'm just waiting for so I can hang it up then I'm off to bed,I'm working tomorrow but I'm on a late so don't have to be there until 12 so I can have a lovely lie in,the house is all clean and tidy as well so I can have a nice relaxing morning before I leave
I'm still in quite a bit of pain in my arms so I'm hoping it will have calmed down a bit by tomorrow,if I keep myself busy it should be fine,I only notice it when I'm not doing anything ,I use a cream called Pernaton Gel for my painful joints and muscles which works really well,I covered my arms in that when I went to bed last night and it soothes them really well
I've found some more things to declutter today in the cupboard where I keep the lunch boxes so might sort that out on my day off if I have time,I've got to get the painting done first so I will see how long that takesOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -

Luckily it's only a small ceiling in my bathroom,my living room ceiling is 18 ft by 14 ft and covered in horrible swirley artex painting that one is a nightmare, hopefully one day I will be able to have it plastered so it's nice and smooth:)Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -

Oh dear, you have got it bad, haven't you? :rotfl:
I think you could treat yourself to a shower cap or make yourself a mob cap once you have some energy. I do agree though - decorating would be easier if it kept out of one's hair. Can you tie a scarf round your head like the ladies in the old postcards? You could whisk it away if a TV crew happened to turn up...I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Wow it sounds as though you have been very busy while I have been away. Well done on the bathroom. Does sound like DD was being a bit unreasonable expecting you to help her with the book case when you were busy. Glad she has seen the error of her ways and started being nice again.DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)
