I must admit that you've put me off havig chickens because it sounds like a lot of work, although they obviously give you a lot of enertainment and they do sound lovely
. I suppose it would depend upon how much free time I had. Our current garden is too small anyway.
It will be great when your bathroom's finished, you'll enjoy using it more. The clingfilm tip is a good one for the paint :T.
Have a good weekend.

Yay day off:j I got a text from DD1 asking if I wanted to meet her to go into town today as we were both free so I said yeah,we haven't seen each other apart from when she drops DGS off for ages so I thought it would be nice
The day started off a bit frantically though because I overslept ,she was due at 11am and I didn't wake up until 10.30:eek::rotfl: I've never got ready so quick in my life, showerd makeup on hairdone dressed and breakfast in just under an hour:rotfl:q
I slept really badly last night because I was in a massive amount of pain, my legs were throbbing so much I didn't know what to do with myself,I took some painkillers and covered them in Pernaton gel in the end and it did work after a while,I haven't been in that much pain for a long time and I had forgotten how bad it can get,I'm trying not to use my strong painkillers because these were the ones that were giving me a headache from overuse,so I have to balance out the potential pain relief agaisnt getting a really bad headache the next day,it's a nightmare really
Anyway we went off to town and had a nice day, DD had a few things she needed to get and I was looking for my paint and needed a bit of shopping,we also went for lunch which was nice,I'm very proud to say that although I saw lots of lovely clothes I didn't buy a single thing,I know I've got enough to wear now so I dont actually need anything and although I saw lots I liked I just told myself that in 6 months times there would be lots of other things I liked too and if I bought everything I liked I would need a bigger house, the rule is I buy something new when one of the items I already own is no longer wearable ,The only exception to this will be that I might need something to wear to a wedding party I've been invited to in April but I'm hoping I can wear the dress I already own,I will have to see
Tonigh DD and I are watching a new programme on Netflix called The Umbrella Academy,it's looks quite good so we are giving it a go
I'm off again tomorrow so will be going to The Range to find my paint that I couldn't get today ,its annoying but can't be helped,I wanted to finish the ceiling today but because I went into town I didn't have timeOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
That sounds like a lovely day. I used to go out with my sister and mum occasionally for lunch or for a shopping day, but with little one and my sister having a little one too, we never seem to have the same day off at all ever and can get out.
It is lovely when we do it, and it's just nice to have a catch up too. Glad you enjoyed it.
Sorry about the pain though. I have noticed an increase because of the weather changes too. The cold to warm and then cold again isn't helping me at all and I know it is going to get worse when it rains too. Hopefully it'll ease a little for you. I have a heated blanket and that seems to work for me in bed. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x0 -
I'm glad you had a good day with DD1 and I think you're very disciplined in not buying any clothes :A.
Sorry you were in so much pain last night, that sounds awful. Is it because you've been so busy lately? I'm not telling you to stop doing things, but could it be a bit of cause and effect? In which case you should maybe pace yourself a little bit more. Ignore me if I'm talking nonsense
.
I haven't seen The Umbrella Academy, but DH, DS1 and me are watching The Marvellous Mrs Maisel at the moment and it's really good.
I hope you find your paint at The R@nge.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I do hope you have a better night tonight, it must be grim to have so much pain especially when you need to sleep.
The day with your DD sounds nice though (as does your accidental lie-in).I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I hope you find your paint at The R@nge.
Thankfully my legs seem ok tonight so hopefully I've got away with it today
The Umbrella Academy is based on a comic book,it was good, quite funny in parts but also a little bit violent in some bits,I m looking forward to seeing the next episode
I have heard of The Marvelous Miss Maise but haven't watched it,I might have to check it out as I'm always trying to find good things to watch,we rarely watch the telly so when something good turns up I like to make the most of itOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -

I just know if I tried to store my paint upside down the lid would surely come off :rotfl:
My day was lovely and made a nice change and my lie in was heavenly :rotfl:
Fortunately tonight my legs don't feel too bad so I'm hoping they won't start to ache once I lie down,I'm going to try and get to sleep in a minute but I'm not really tired so not sure how successful that will be,I've been watching YouTube videos about tiny houses and I'm overstimulated now :rotfl:Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
Just spent the last our or so watching videos about tiny house living,I'm going to sell my house now and move into my shed......the ultimate minimising:rotfl:
Some of them were too impractical but I saw a few that I reckon I could live in,one couple built their tiny house to live in temporarily while they built a more permanent mud house on their plot of land and it was so well designed, there was also a follow up video to show how it was a year later and they had had a baby and were still living in their tiny house,it was very inspiring, there was another couple who used shipping containers, they had three and linked them together side by side with little corridors, they were amazing too.
Most of the people on there were able to live mortgage free and work less hours because they had such low overheads,it's definitely an idea that's catchin on and I would certainly be willing to give it a go if I couldOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201
