You can then easily see what you haven't worn as the cost hanger is the wrong way round. Hope that makes sense
I also have a capsule wardrobe as graciously of my clothes for me

The hanger idea is a great idea, but I too would be freaked out with them the wrong way .

Yes I had DGS today, he was very funny today, DD was off as well so she spent a lot of time playing with him,we also went to the library which he lovedOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
Today was my day to have DGS so I've had a busy day and I'm shattered,I might have to have n early night,I'm on a late tomorrow so can have a lie in in the morning:j
Today was my first day of using my new wardrobe and I have to say getting dressed was a breeze,I grabbed a top and some trousers and was ready to go,no more standing in front of the wardrobe wondering what to wear for me:j
I bagged up the clothes into four bags and we took them to the charity shop this morning,DGS is starting to want to walk to places now so we let him walk to the bus stop and loaded the buggy up with the bags of clothes:rotfl: so that another load gone out of my house
I still have the bits that DD sorted out to take but we are doing that on Thursday
We went to the charity shop in town and then went to the library to take DGS to the children's section,he loved it and looked at several books while we were there,I'm definitely going to take him back again
We then went and got some food shopping, unfortunately it chucked it down all day today so it was a bit miserable in town ,we then came home and spent the afternoon playing with DGS and reading his books
After DGS left it was time to take the dog out and OMG it was cold,I was soooo glad to get back indoors with the heating onOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
I'm so impressed with your decluttering OBL :T. It sounds like life is going to be a lot simpler for you once you've finished decluttering the house. What areas are you going to tackle next?
I saw the first Marie Condo programme today and found it interesting. Although her way of folding clothes made them look all creased to me. I like to hang up my tee shirts and jumpers so they don't get screwed up. I only keep scruffy tee shirts and underwear and socks in drawers. I want to do some more decluttering once I'm less busy with other stuff.
It's lovely that DGS likes books so much.

I don't like the folding method she uses either,my DD does it and it does crease your clothes and who the hell has got time to fold their socks, not me thatsfor sure :rotfl:Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
Forgot to mention this
The other day I was going through town and noticed how many shops were closing down and I automatically started worrying about certain shops closing, but I've been thinking why does it matter to me,I'm not going to be shopping in any of these shops anyway so I don't need to worry about it
In other news I went to clean the chickens out earlier today and there were two eggs in the house so they must have started laying again, obviously threatening them with the casserole dish did the trick :rotfl:Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
I can't make up my mind about the folding of T Shirts. I can see how it looks lovely and neat and you can instantly see what you have, but like you say, some of them do get creased. On the other hand, I don't have a huge amount of hanging space and do have lots of drawers, so maybe it is best? At the moment the everyday ones are in the drawer and the nicer ones are hanging, but that seems to defeat the object of having all the same sort of clothes in one place. ...Oh and I do fold my socks the Marie way....love how neat they look. Even got OH doing it, so much easier to grab a pair:)DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)
