Morning all
I really shouldn’t leave the house this time of year. Can you believe I fell over on the way to work this morning and hurt both hands and my leg. I would’ve gone back home but I need to pick up this new laptop. I’m ok just shaken up a bit and sore. Goodness knows what I tripped over! Something hidden by leaves I think. The day can only get better 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Oops!
At least you fell over on the way not on the way back with the new laptop!!4 -
Oh no. I feel your pain as I’m always falling over my own feet or walking into door handles. It’s much worse when people try to pick you up and you have to leap up really fast and not cry until they’ve gone ☹️ When my dog was younger and very strong I think I spent more time on my face than upright and would occasionally finish a walk limping and sobbing as she ran happily around me 🤣Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Aww, sorry to hear that, @Sun_Addict. I think as an adult, it is the sheer shock of suddenly finding oneself on the floor that causes the shakiness. Treat yourself gently tonight, maybe a warm bath then feet up.
Shocked at the price of scooter canopies. We gave Mum's rain canopy to the charity shop when we cleared out our old home. She'd never even used it so I bet it was a useful find for somebody.
Take care,

Hope you are feeling better. I regularly hit the deck and I am never sure which is worse, the pain or feeling stupid. Fortunately never caused myself too much damage. How is kitties tummy?4

Oh dear poor you taking a tumble. My friend did the same a few months and broke her arm by putting it out to break her fall. After your problems with your leg with the scooter incident and being knocked over you really are in the wars. The leaves and mud combined is a problem in some areas as it is very slippy. Hope you recover quickly. Kitten looks cute.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
