Thank you all. I’m fine just sore, I grazed both palms and my knee is bruised. I didn’t think and sanitised my hands at work - it didn’t half sting 😱The kitten’s tummy seems to be settling now, she’s eating and drinking well. The new laptop is great so far, I’ve got to leave it on overnight to set itself up and restore my work profile. I’m going to have to buy a backpack for it as it’s bigger and heavier than the tablet.Work wasn’t as bad as I thought it might be. There were actually a couple of my team in today so I wasn’t sitting on my own.Tonight’s dinner will be pizza, wedges and salad, don’t feel like faffing about.Did a bit of shopping at Lidl on the way home so not a NSD.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I got an everfabulous anti theft backpack for my laptop from amzn. Not very dear and quite solid, with lots of sections and anti theft bits like a number lock.

On my way home from work I had a look where I fell, the leaves had been cleared up and there was no sign of anything I could’ve possibly tripped over, unless that also had been removed. I definitely tripped rather than slipped. It reminded me of a few years ago I was out Christmas shopping in town. I had a pair of pointed toe boots on and they somehow caught in the hem of my bootcut trousers and I fell flat on my face on the stairs in M&S. It was SO embarrassing, I was laden down with that many bags it took several people to haul me back up on my feet 🤣🤣 I can laugh about it now. Then more recently I randomly tripped and fell on my way home from work in the middle of town. I had a bottle of red wine in my shopping bag and it broke. People rushed to help and I heard someone say she’s bleeding. Had to explain it was red wine 🤣🤣
Basically I’m not safe to be let out am I 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Forgot to say another catch up with some retired friends has been planned in a couple of weeks. It will involve a train ride. Looking forward to that 😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I once tripped on the doorstep of a small, busy shop and smashed a jar of honey. Talk about a sticky end! It was right in the way of everyone (and a waste of honey which was a bit of a treat as it was also my birthday)!
I hope your hands and knees are okay now? Ouch to the hand gel.
