Morning, happy hump day.
DD put the kitten in the spare bedroom last night and this morning I can see why. She's got an upset tummy and the cat litter tray absolutely ponged. I cleaned it and put fresh litter in and she immediately pooped in it again. I'm hoping it's just the change in food as the previous owner was giving her all sorts of rubbish and she's now on proper kitten food. At some stage she'll need to go to the vet for a check over anyway. I don't think DD has thought through what looking after a kitten entails as it's 11 years since the older cat was a kitten. As cute as kittens are this is why I prefer fully grown cats.
Hard to believe I was sitting on a bus on Friday on the way back from my friends and someone got on with two kittens in a carrier basket. I was thinking how cute they were and here I am a few days later with a kitten.
Today should be NSD 6/12 as have no plans to spend anything or go anywhere other than for a walk with the dog.
Jobs list:
Meal plan (still not done this!)
Quick look at finances
30 mins Spanish
Clean bedroom
FitOn lower body tone and burn workout
Dog walking
I've got to go into the office tomorrow to pick up my new laptop, not particularly looking forward to this but it's got to be done, we're all getting new ones.

poor poor little kitten. I hope her tummy settles soon. One of our big boys is a notorious stinker, we all gag when he’s been. He has a treat stick addiction though and I’m sure it’s that! Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

All this talk of litter trays is one reason I really dont want a cat…..the other is they make me sneeze, otherwise I’d love one.

Hope the cats tummy settles down soon. It is probably just the stress of moving to a new home, meeting new people and new "siblings".4

First lockdown my DS and family got a dog, ( they had been thinking of getting one for about a year). Second lockdown they got another dog to keep the first one company. They live not far from me, and I told them that they would have to do all the dog walking even though they all worked as I wasn’t going to do it. Due to DIL being quite poorly the last few months I am enjoying dog walking nearly everyday. Will admit I do love my pupsters.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.006

So not a NSD after all. Mr SA bought himself a card wallet from the local chemist of all places. I’m sure he’s had one from there before and decided it was unsuitable. He’s only got 2 cards! Then I ended up going to Mr T to get some dry kitten food because previous owner fed her dry food so the wet DD was giving her could be why her tummy is off. I’ve told DD to only feed her very small quantities see how she goes. She’s drinking water which is good. Then the wheelie bin washing man turned up and needed paying.
So that was the NSD well and truly out of the window 😕
Mr SA has got his scooter back, it’s had a new motor. Not good as it was brand new earlier this year. He asked about rain canopies but they are £600 - how much 😱 and easily damaged apparently, so not an option I’m afraid.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
