Well it’s all quiet on the animal front here. The dog has finally stopped keeping vigil outside DD’s room and is asleep in her bed.

I hardly got anything done that I wanted to do today. I’ve been busy but not actually achieved anything significant. Spent a lot of time going through work emails built up while I was off. First day back and I’ve already booked my Christmas leave in 😆

Forgot to say after many attempts managed to book in our Covid boosters for 10 December at the doctors. Tried to book them via the NHS site but the nearest centre was 9 miles away.

Good luck with the new cat @Sun_Addict with your tales of Daughter - she must be grown up(?) and one of my staff who has a 25 year old still at home with no signs of moving every now and again I wonder what age my son will be when he moves away from home lol.

Morning all, happy Tuesday.

Been up since the crack of dawn as had a Mr M delivery at 6.30. 4th week running now no missing items or subs, happy days.

All has been quiet overnight with the animals, the dog has been on our bed all night, the cat downstairs in Mr SA's chair and the kitten with DD.

Taking part in a virtual Zumba class for Children in Need at lunchtime.

Have contacted yet another plumber to come and have a look at this tap that just doesn't want to be fixed in the kitchen. If this one doesn't turn up then I'll use the BG Home cover, I just want it fixed now.

Feel more productive today so hoping to get quite a bit done. 

Today's tasks:

Clean kitchen and dining room
Spanish
Morning and lunchtime walks with the dog
Meal plan (rolled over from yesterday)
Charity Zumba
Short FitOn workout

‘Fraid you’ve got a few days till Friday…..just keep ticking them off and you’ll soon be there.
Kitten sounds beautiful. I’m sure the other animals will soon get used to her/him…..

Last time I used it I had to pay £60 excess, he changed a washer, took him 5 minutes. A few days later the tap was dripping again. I should’ve called them back really but the bloke who was doing the plastering/painting at the time said the tap needed replacing altogether, so I bought a new tap, he fitted it and it was fine for a couple of weeks then started dripping. I contacted him and he said he’d come and have a look but was really busy, not heard from him since. 

The plumber I contacted this morning has been in touch to ask what the problem is but not heard back from him since I told him.
