@Sun_Addict You are a really good person to help the wee cat, who will probably need to be taken to the vet. The owner doesn't sound like the kind of person who would have had her vaccinated or neutered. I knew somebody like that who came home with a Turkish husband as a holiday souvenir. She had five children and a parrot with him...Credit card One :£926.60( Oct 21 )(Nov 21 vet bill disaster), £999(Jan 22), £974(Feb 22)

She’s definitely not neutered and DD realises she will have to pay for this, plus the vaccinations. The cat will get a good home here providing the dog accepts her. That’s my worry. DD is the softest person ever where animals are concerned.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Just make sure you keep the new cat in a separate room for several days then do a very careful introduction. I would also advise not letting the new cat outside for at least 6 weeks so it gets used to being in it's new home. B was fine when my DDs cat moved in but our cat took several months to get used to him being back ( they are cousins who lived together for a few years before DD took one to live with her ) they are fine together now. We put a litter tray and food upstairs for our cat so he could get away if he wanted and didn't need to come downstairs to eat or use the tray if he didn't want to. He stayed upstairs for a couple of months but I started bringing him down to sleep on the other settee and he is fine nowOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1206

Happy Monday and back to work for me today - boo.
Still have loads of work emails to plough through, can't face them yet, need to get my head around what I have to do today.
I think the new cat is coming today. Thankfully DD has got the week off work so will be looking after it in her room. My cat won't be happy at first but will come round in the end as she did with the dog. Thanks for the tips @Onebrokelady.
I need to get back into a proper routine as I feel a bit adrift since the clocks went back. I've not been doing my morning walk since it's been dark but I'm going to make time to go out for 30 minutes later in the morning. I work flexible hours so can easily take 30 minutes break.
Today's tasks:
Clean living room and hall
Ironing
Meal plan for the week
Amend tomorrow's Mr M order
Take the dog on the park later and at lunchtime
FitOn workout after work
Spanish lessons
Look at finances
Plus do a full day's work 😆
Will finally get another NSD in today making it 5/12 for November.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

I’ve had several cats over the years, a mouse and a chinchilla, all from people who didn’t want them any more. It makes me so cross, poor little things. The chinchilla had been via many different homes, just passed around and was given to me as a few years old, but was actually quite elderly. I had to completely replace his cage for a massive one and he had all the treats he could eat and all the toys he could imagine for his last few years.I hope your new addition fits in well. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

The kitten is here and she’s lovely, so tiny. She’s black with a white tummy and her top lip has a white moustache that looks like she’s got milk round her mouth. The dog was wagging her tail at her and is desperate to get a good look at her. The cat isn’t happy and is spitting at her. I’ll post a photo at some stage.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10
