Morning, happy Sunday.
Got up an hour ago to finish off my current book, it was dragging on a bit so I’m glad to see the back of it.Was woken up at 2am by an inconsiderate recovery truck driver choosing to park outside my house and faff with the car he was towing. He was really noisy and the flashing lights made the bedroom like a disco. Annoying as literally feet away from my house is a stretch of road with no houses so why didn’t he stop there. Fortunately I got back to sleep when he eventually drove off.Today’s main plan is to go to Lidl to see if they’ve got the little microwave advertised in their magazine. It looks perfect for my needs so fingers crossed as my current microwave is dropping to bits. It’s a fair walk away so it’ll give the dog a good street walk too. Far too many park runs have left her claws quite long so I need to find a dog groomer who’ll come to the house to cut them. I daren’t attempt it myself as I’ve heard that it’s easy to cut the quick by mistake if they’ve got black claws like hers.
The freezer part of my new fridge freezer is smaller than my old one and I’m struggling to fit everything in. I used to have a small overspill freezer but got rid of it when I had the new kitchen. So the plan is to get another one in the Black Friday deals. I could keep it in the spare room.I mentioned thoughts of getting a tumble dryer a while ago but have managed to get by recently with the heated airer so that idea is on a back burner for now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I don't know what we would do without our garage freezer 😲5

It’s good that you’ve got room for a 2nd freezer. I often wish I had room for one - but after seeing the amount of food I had duplicated in mine when I sorted it last week, it’s probably as well I haven’t 😉
I believe if you get the quick in the dogs claw they can bleed a lot….so it makes sense to get them done.January spends - £587.584 -
