We weighed the kitten today and she’s only just over a kilo. The vets I take the older cat to is only doing vaccinations now, anything else is at their branch an hours walk away. So currently trying to find a vet within a reasonable walking distance. The dogs vet is the best part of an hour away as well plus it’s across an extremely busy road. One thing we desperately need locally is a vets but instead we have lots of beauty salons and hairdressers 😩

They are literally just up the road from where the other half works so handy for routine visits after work but in an emergency it would be a bit of a r
Trek to get there.
We would probably go to a more local vet in an absolute emergency.4 -
Morning, happy Saturday 🥂
Typical that every morning I’m awake at the crack of dawn and the one morning I would’ve liked to have been up earlier I didn’t wake up until 7. I fell asleep on the sofa last night and woke up at 1am. Fortunately dropped off to sleep straightaway when I got in bed. When Mr SA eventually gets up we’re going into town. The dog will have to wait for her walk until we get back. I don’t want to be in town when it’s busy and Mr SA wants to see the Christmas market so the sooner we get there the better.
Curry night tonight 😋I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Morning, your kitten is gorgeous, did you decide on the name Poppy.
Hope you get Mr SA jacket swapped over and he gets his coffee 😀.4 -
Good luck in town today.
Curry night sounds good.4 -
I like the sound of a Christmas market. I hope you have a good trip.

Talking of trips this is what I tripped over
on Thursday. It’s about an inch off the ground, solid metal.

I’m sending the above photo to the council because it’s dangerous. What if an elderly person tripped on it. What purpose does it serve?Absolute nightmare in town with Mr SA 😩 I forget just what hard work he is. Managed to exchange his coat, they wouldn’t refund without a receipt. Nothing similar in his size so he swapped it for a gilet, some trainers and yet another man bag. He’s over the moon with his haul though.Kept losing him in the shops, where on earth he disappears to I don’t know. I had to keep ringing him. Got so exasperated I told him I’d go home if I lost him again. Can you believe the one day we go in town the shopping centre we were just about to go in was evacuated because of a gas leak. Fire engines and police everywhere cordoning off the city centre, absolute chaos.Blown the whole month’s eating out budget in one day. Cafe Nero then the local pub on the way home. It came to over £30 in our local for lunch by the time Mr SA had added his side orders.
Came back home, took the dog on the park across the road and, you’re not going to believe this, I fell down a hole and hurt my ankle 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
