No idea what purpose it serves randomly in the middle of a pavement. Imagine if an elderly or disabled person encountered it 😡 I was lucky it wasn’t worse.

In other news submitted a feedback form about yesterday’s lunch at the local. Remarked it was too expensive for what it was and my disappointment at there being no side salad with it. They are looking into it as there should’ve been apparently. Told them the food was lovely just not worth how much it cost. I had a vegan burger with sweet potato fries, the fries were amazing but the vegan burger was just ok. I’m not a fan of fake meat. One of the many reasons I don’t eat meat is the texture so I don’t want anything pretending to be meat.

She's so prim-looking but I bet she can wreck havoc as they do at that age!

I hope you get some satisfaction from the Council and from the pub. It's worth pointing these things out because if they don't know they can't put it right.

Just another manic Monday

Have been so busy with work this morning, didn't even have time to think.

Just come back from taking the dog for a park run, the weather is beautiful. Got two loads of washing out - can't believe it built up again after emptying it yesterday.

Finances done, transferred an oddment of £7.07 into the Christmas pot. I'll start up Christmas 2022's pot at the end of the month and close this one off. Come to a standstill with present buying after making an early start. Fortunately not much to get. 
Can't believe it's December next week.

Need to buy a new rug for the living room, one of the fur babies (probably the kitten but who knows) had an accident on it yesterday, although I've shampooed it, it's been shampooed that many times it's looking past its best. I'm going to buy one I can just stick in the washing machine, not really the best idea to have a shaggy pile rug when you've got pets. Possibly a Black Friday purchase?

Today is NSD 8/12, need to get my skates on to hit target by the end of the month.

Have chosen a cookbook and several recipes out of it to make, I'm using my WW Comfort Food book. 

Cleaning wise it's the turn of the kitchen today, IF I get time.

After work exercise will be a FitOn HIIT session.

Tonight's dinner is leftover veg curry from Saturday with basmati rice.

Back to work...

Morning, happy Tuesday

Still busy work wise today but hopefully less manic than yesterday.

Mr M delivery coming later unfortunately they've let me down with Mr SA's beer this week although I had a feeling they would. It was on offer 2 crates for £20 and the offer ends today. They've subbed the beer for smaller packs which are almost as expensive as the larger ones. Definitely going to send them back as Mr T are doing the big crates for £10 at the moment and I can easily nip down to there. I've been collecting the virtual stamps to get £34 off my Christmas shop - spend £90 for 4 out of the next 5 weeks and I would've had 3 of the stamps today had the beer been in stock. Oh well, still got 2 weeks to do it. The good thing is with that offer is that because of the colleague discount I haven't had to actually spend £90, it's spend £90 before the discount. 

The dog's tummy has been gurgling all night so hope she's not going to be poorly today. The older cat keeps pinching her food so it's hard to tell how much she's been eating.

Need to make a list of what I want to get done today work and home wise.

How annoying about the beer. Picking substitutions appears to be an art form, I think MrT sends their pickers to wonderland for some kind of a mad hatters training course before they begin.
I hope dog feels better soon, they do gurgle spectacularly!
