Took the dog for a long walk up to the golf course this morning. It was lovely and sunny but with a cold wind. The path looked so autumnal and pretty I took a photo.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Have done the meal plan and made spiced butternut squash stew with herb dumplings for my dinner tonight. This is an old favourite of mine. I’ve made two portions so will have the other one on Tuesday.Got two loads of washing dry thanks to the sun and wind.Didn’t spend anything today 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I think I'll try pegging out tomorrow, @Sun_Addict. Cold wind but sunny & bright. Anything which reduces paying for heated airer use is worth a go. Am determined to have a rebate or monthly energy payment reduction next quarter.

DD has now renamed the kitten Luna. To be honest it suits her better than Poppy. Have come across quite a few dogs called Luna on the park and they are always naughty.Have let the dog have a good sniff of the kitten tonight, it had to be done as she was so curious. The kitten grumbled though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

The kitten sitting next to my wine advent calendar. The dog can’t take her eyes off her but they need to get used to each other.
