It rained at lunchtime unfortunately, got the washing in then the sun came back out. Typical. 

Today has flown by, I was so busy at work. 

Took the dog for a lunchtime run, we had the whole park to ourselves. Did a FitOn workout after work.

Dinner had to be revised as annoyingly the spinach had gone slimy and I had to bin it. Had courgette in its place. 

The family across the road from me have just returned from holiday and a Track and Trace official was at their house today. Wonder if they’ve been somewhere on the red list 🤔 Nothing ever happens round here apart from people being taken away in ambulances so that’s classed as excitement by the way 😆

Honestly @Cherryfudge if you live round here you have a very high chance of being picked up in an ambulance. Once when I rang for one for Mr SA they were here in seconds. They said they always park up round here because they know they’ll get plenty of business. To be fair there are a lot of elderly people round here so probably the reason why. There’s a little cul de sac off our road that’s known locally  as God’s waiting room.

it sounds exciting to me. We can only see one house properly and he is always working outside…always! They are retired and we think his wife pops him out to play 🤣

Morning all, happy Tuesday

Mr M delivery coming shortly. Second week running no missing items or subs, what's going on 😆 Mr SA will have to go to the the door as a meeting that was cancelled on Friday was rescheduled for the very time slot the delivery is coming (by me, I have only myself to blame). I tried to change the delivery slot but there was nothing until later tonight. 

I've got another very busy work morning so I'm hoping to catch up on writing up yesterday's and today's meeting notes this afternoon.

Have been awake since 4am thanks to the cat purring on my pillow and occasionally stretching out her paw to tap my face. The dog was snoring at the side of me too. It's a good job I go to bed early! 

I feel like I've been disorganised for some time now. I keep forgetting to do the meal plans and I seem to have lost my way tracking on my WW app. I used to have a plan for every month and look back on how I did at the end of the month, I need to start doing this again. Time just passes by so fast and all the days/weeks/months seem to be merging into one big blur. On the subject of WW the plan is changing yet again this month. It's all very well adding more so called free food to the plan but I think it worked better when only non starchy fruit and veg were free. Anyway we shall see what it's all about.

Actually that's a pretty amazing response time for the ambulance. I wonder if the people on the cul de sac know about the other name for their road?

Our town is the administrative HQ of all sorts of services so we hear siren quite a lot: police, ambulance, fire brigade... When there are a lot of them it's generally supposed they are going to the A19. It would be quite major if anything came to our little road, though.

Ambulances definitely have lurking spots so they can be where they are needed ASAP. We saw one when we broke down at Scotch Corner years ago: the driver was someone we knew but he had to stay at his post as it was New Year's Eve and he was waiting for the calls to come in.

They currently have 3 level of plans: Green, Blue and Purple. All different amounts of free food but the points adjusted accordingly. The purple one has the most free foods but hardly any points and I suspect this plan is more or less the same as SW. I prefer the green plan as it's closer to the plan I got to goal with and calorie counting. It depends on what suits your lifestyle. So goodness knows what they're coming up with now!

Mr SA was fine with the delivery and nothing was missing so he's got his beer. He put the beer away but left the rest of the shopping by the door. With the staff discount and a £5 off voucher they sent me it took £17 off the total which is great.

It's been a lovely sunny day here so far, will be taking the dog out shortly before I settle down to an afternoon of writing up notes.

My dinner tonight is one of my favourites Harissa Prawn Orzo from the Skinny Kitchen Secrets website. It will use up a courgette that's hanging about. Mr SA is having chicken casserole cooked in the slow cooker.

We've been told today at work that the one day a week in the office is staying until after the new year, no plans to make it two days for now. I'm happy with that.

Well thank goodness I didn’t go to the office last Tuesday as I’ve been notified I may have been in contact with someone who fell ill with Covid the following day. I was on the list to attend but didn’t go because I was full of cold. Phew!
