Definitely if this fridge freezer fails in less than 5 years I will buy separate next time. I’ve got a huge kitchen but sacrificed appliance space for cupboard space.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Happy Thursday, almost the weekend again.
The new fridge freezer is installed, the old one and packaging have gone. It’s slightly smaller than the old one but won’t make much difference. It’s much better laid out and sleeker. It aligns properly with the larder cupboard next to it so fits better in the kitchen. It’s so quiet as well, keep thinking it’s not working 😆 The old one was really noisy. Not had to throw much stuff away thankfully less than £10 worth.Payday today 🥳 Have sent a small oddment to the Christmas pot, I think I’ll hit the £600 target by Monday.Weather is awful here at the moment, very wet and gloomy. Hoping to get out to Lidl later as I only have until tomorrow to spend the £10 off coupon. Won’t be buying anything that needs to go in the freezer as there’s no room.Making a spiced butternut squash stew with herb dumplings for tonight’s dinner.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
For a while now I’ve had suspicions that someone is drinking my gin. It has been going down quite fast, I know I can be a bit heavy handed with measures but I usually only drink it at the weekend so it shouldn’t be disappearing like it has been. I thought I had enough to last me until next weekend but last night I noticed the bottle only had a tiny drop left in it, not even a single measure. This has confirmed my suspicions as there is no way I would bother putting such a tiny amount back on the shelf. I’m pretty certain it must be DD as Mr SA doesn’t like gin, or so he says 🤔So from now on I’ll have to hide it. Annoying but hopefully whoever it is will get the message. I’m leaving the alcohol free gin out though, let’s see if anyone takes that 😐I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Morning all, happy Friday and happy October 🎃
Aiming for NSD 1/15 today, no plans to go anywhere other than the park across the road with the dog. Hit my target of 12/12 for September so upping my game for October and going for 15.
Weather is dire again this morning, absolutely pouring down, so no morning walk or run. I'll take the dog out later and again at lunchtime then go for a treadmill run after work. The dog took some persuasion to go out this morning, I could tell she was desperate but she was loathe to get wet. She eventually went out.
My washing basket is full to the brim again so the heated airer will have to come back out of storage. I'm sure Mr SA puts things in there instead of hanging them up, he's always changing his clothes, drives me nuts. If he ever went missing it would be no good describing the clothes I last saw him in because it could be anything!
Cleaning task today is the bedrooms, didn't get the master bedroom done yesterday so doing the whole of the upstairs today except for DD's room - that's her job.
Making Mediterranean cod for dinner tonight rolled over from last week's meal plan when I didn't have any cod 😆
That's my final week of WFH all week done. Next week we have to be in the office one day a week. I have mixed feelings about that now the mornings are dark and the weather is on the downward spiral. Oh well, it's got to be done and it is only for one day.
Have a fabulous Friday 😎

Managed to get 2 loads of washing dry after this morning’s rain. What a turnaround in weather. Treadmill run after work followed by a long soak in the bath then watched a WW live cook along via the app which was really good.DS and the GKs coming tomorrow, not a lot else happening this weekend, not necessarily a bad thing 😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
