Good luck with the dentist visit.
I hope Mr SA is not too shaken up after his fall…..must be very unnerving for him.
Lol how long would the cat stay out there if you were to walk away and ignore her 😂😂
Poor dog looked absolutely shattered ❤️January spends - £587.584 -
Glad your dentist visit went ok, hopefully the new one will be ready soon. I would walk away and leave the cat too 😂Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1204

The cat often plays me up by sitting at the door waiting to come in, when I open it she runs off, then returns once I close the door. After a while I leave her outside. Eventually she goes and sits on Mr SA’s scooter. I think she’s still protesting about the removal of her cat flap. We had the back door replaced by patio doors and I didn’t want to spoil them by putting a cat flap in. It’s a good thing as she can no longer bring in presents of mice for the dog, she was a pain at that.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

The numbness took a few hours to wear off properly but all back to normal now apart from the odd tingle. The appointment to fit the proper crown will be a lot better, no anaesthetic or drilling. To be honest the teeth cleaning by the hygienist last month was worse than today, she wasn’t exactly gentle. After this morning’s torrential rain the weather was beautiful and sunny. Took the dog on the park at lunchtime but it was ruined somewhat by the council appearing with two grass cutting machines that looked like mini combine harvesters. They were hurtling all over the place with them, cutting the grass so it was hard to keep out of their way. The blokes on the machines looked as though they were enjoying themselves. Wonder if they’re new council toys, not seen them before. Wouldn’t mind a go on one of them myself, looked like good fun 😆Had a big clean/move around in the dining room after work and it looks so much better. This is the room I have my work desk in. Then I did a HIIT workout followed by a lovely soak in the bath.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Happy Tuesday
Have been to the big Mr Ts for my morning walk just over 7,000 steps done. Got a Mr M delivery coming, no missing items, 2 subs. I’m finding I’m saving a fair bit splitting the grocery shop between Mr M, T and L. Managing to get everything I need as if it’s out of stock in one shop, another will have it.Took a photo of the beautiful sunrise on my walk.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Have got two loads of washing out today with it being sunny and windy, better make the most of it. Cleaning task today is the bathroom.
Done a pre-payday money shuffle, moving bits around in my various pots. I've sent another £150 to the Coventry Regular Saver, that's £250 so far this month, can put in up to £500 a month. This pot forms part of the emergency fund so a combined total of £5650.
Moved £320 into house pot, £170 of this is for the bird cowl finally being fitted next week, weather permitting.
I've moved £130 to the general spends pot, Mr SA is going to need some new clothes shortly, he's already started making noises about this and for once he really does need some new stuff. His many falls don't help with wear and tear plus he has a tendency to abandon his sweatshirts in the garden if he gets too warm, I find them all over often soaking wet if it's been raining!
Left £1350 in the holiday pot. Going to start adding to this again now there are two holidays on the horizon.
Some oddments have gone to the Christmas pot now almost at my £600 target at £586.41. Will keep adding the oddments until the end of November then I'll start off Christmas 2022 savings. These savings are purely from shaving off oddments.
Tonight's dinner is lightly dusted lemon and parsley yellowfin sole with roast beetroot/swede plus extra veg. Mr SA has got chicken casserole in the slow cooker.
The freezer door wasn't shut properly when I got up this morning, I'm surprised I didn't hear the alarm it sets off. Not sure if it was DD as I was in bed when she came home from work. Fortunately only the bread type products had started to defrost, the meat and fish were still solid.
Taking the dog on the park shortly for a quick run. Another FitOn workout after work and that's me done for the day.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Savings are looking good! It's amazing how those small savings add up to something significant.
I'm delighted you are growing your holiday pot again!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

@Sun_Addict, when you talk about moving money to different "pots", does each pot mean a different account- or are these imaginary parts of a spreadsheet? I like the idea of different pots for different funds, but I'm not sure how to organise them in real life.Credit card One :£926.60( Oct 21 )(Nov 21 vet bill disaster), £999(Jan 22), £974(Feb 22)
