Happy Sunday ☀️Looks like the last day of the good weather for a while according to my weather app so will make the most of it by getting some outside jobs done. Not walking miles today, will just take the dog on the park across the road.It will be NSD 11/12, determined to hit target.
Mr SA and the dog are still in bed so it’s all quiet at the moment. If there’s time, I’m going to get my winter clothes out and start putting the summer ones away. Also need to meal plan for next week.
It’s the dreaded dentist visit tomorrow when the chipped crown is being removed. He said it will probably have to be drilled off 😱 Will be glad when that ordeal is over. I hate going to the dentist ☹️Have a good one 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Best of luck tomorrow! I've thoroughly enjoyed reading your diary. You write very entertainingly about incidents which most of us would find overwhelming . Thank you.

Thank you Scottiedog 😊
Managed to swap the summer wardrobe for the winter one - boo I hate winter 🥶 A few things gone in a bag for charity including a pair of brand new ankle boots bought before I broke my ankle far too high to ever wear again sadly.Next week is the last week of WFH 5 days. We have to make an appearance in the office once a week from October. Not looking forward to that as they need to keep the windows open for ventilation and if it’s not 26 degrees plus I’m freezing 🥶🥶 If I’m cold I’ll throw my toys out of the pram and go back home. A diva - moi 🤣Seriously though I can do my job just as effectively from home, if not more. Apart from the social aspect there are no advantages to me being physically in the office.Got some gardening done but unfortunately Mr SA had a nasty fall in the garden so was unable to be of any assistance. Took me ages to get him back up 😩 He’s been sacked as head gardener as he’s killed a lot of the plants through neglect ☹️Just need to clear up tonight’s dinner pots then will sit with my feet up for an hour with a glass of vino tinto before going to bed.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Awe hope mr SA is ok
I think you’ll be sitting with your jacket on if the windows have to be opened.4 -
He’s a bit bruised and shaken but otherwise ok thanks Parkyp. I don’t see how keeping the windows open when it’s cold is going to work to be honest. I can see why they’re doing it but most people are going to be very uncomfortable, especially as we all have a desk based job, it’s not as if we’re moving about.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

On another note, I’m with Octopus Energy and have only been getting estimated bills. Tried to submit a reading yesterday to find I can’t submit electric as I have two readings, one Economy 7 and one normal. Contacted them via email to find they’ve been basing the estimates on one reading. Have had to send photos of the meter readings. Fingers crossed I don’t owe them £££. The monthly payment is so much lower than the last provider it all seems too good to be true.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Morning all, happy Monday.
What a wet miserable morning it is here. Not been out for my morning run/walk as wanted to crack on with work due to going to dentist this morning.
I don't think it will be a NSD today as I have to pay the lab fees for the new crown unless I have to pay them when it's done, not sure. Thankfully I have Denplan to cover the rest of the work, it would be rather costly otherwise as my dentist is private.
Quick look at finances this morning and had an underspend of £19.55 in the groceries budget. £9.55 has gone to the Christmas pot and £10 to the general spends pot. Christmas pot is nearly at target £569.40/£600.
Today's cleaning job is the kitchen. Having a veg lasagne and salad tonight. Lasagne is a portion I have left in the freezer. Exercise will be walking and a FitOn workout.
Will be so glad when this dental appointment is done, will be setting off shortly.
Have a good one.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

The deed is done, I’m back home with a very numb and swollen nose and top lip. I look like I’ve been boxing 😆 Took him ages to drill the old crown off it was stuck on well. Got a temporary crown while the new one is being made. Didn’t have to pay the lab fees today so will hit my NSD 12/12 target.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
