Fml re cat and dog. Our golden cons us out of treats for all sorts but similarly will refuse to come in quite regularly until the gravy bone word is mentioned. 🙄

    Happy Friday 😁

Have been on my Lidl mission this morning. I qualified for the £10 off my next shop coupon today - can't believe I've spend just over £200 in there since the beginning of September. Have picked up a few special buys and wine when it was on offer though. It was quite busy, the staff were still filling the shelves and there was no on on the checkouts. I've found it tends to be like this if you go on as soon as it opens like I did, it's actually better to go a bit later when the stock has been put out and there are more staff around. It's a fair distance from my house so a good start to the day with 8,500 steps already clocked up.

The bloke from the charity shop has been and picked up all the bags of donations, finally got rid of all that stuff. I've got a gift aid card for the shop now so they'll get more money out of it. There'll probably be more when I put my summer clothes away and get the winter ones back out as there are things I haven't worn for some time and most likely have no intentions to either. No point them cluttering up my wardrobe.

Will take the dog for a run at lunchtime and another FitOn workout. Another plus point of not moving my desk into the spare room is I'm back to using it as a gym again, it's nice to do a workout without the cat trying to sit on me or Mr SA shuffling past and tripping over me when I'm doing floor exercises.

    Have a good one 😎

    Happy Saturday 🥂

Have been here, there and everywhere already this morning, was on 12,000 steps by 10am. Yesterday I bought a bottle of the Rioja on offer in Lidl reduced to £3.29 a bottle. I didn’t think it would be that great for that price so opened it last night to sample thinking I’d probably end up opening a ‘better’ bottle. It was lovely, really full bodied just how I like wine. So hot footed it back to Lidl for a case of 6 bottles. I’m really fussy about wine so I’m really pleased with my find.

OMG the queue at the petrol station we passed on the way 😱 The idiots had totally blocked off the pavement and there was a bit of a kerfuffle getting past them with Mr SA’s scooter. They were getting quite tetchy with one another and one driver had blocked the road so cars coming up couldn’t get past so there was much pipping of horns. It’s times like this I am so glad we don’t have a car.

Dropped the wine back off at home then took some carrier bags to a local charity shop who had put out a plea for them on the local FB page.

After lunch we’re going to a local park that has an autumn event on. It’s a shame the GKs aren’t coming this weekend as they would enjoy it. It’s their weekend  for coming here but they have a party this afternoon. Probably for the best given the petrol situation as they live a fair distance away.

    Prosecco and pizza tonight 🍾🍕

Good find on the wine, since us Scottish folk can’t be trusted to choose how much we drink we longer get the cheap offers on booze 🤣🤣
I saw online people filling lots of jerrycans and putting in their boot, surely that shouldn’t be allowed such a hazzard.
Well done on all your steps 👏👏
Enjoy your afternoon at the park.

It's such a shame that people are being  so selfish about petrol.  It is very few people that are so reliant on having fuel that they need to rush to fill up. Have they forgotten the e poor nurse who couldn't buy food at the start of covid. This time if heath and cae staff can't fill up it may be you or your relative that can't get care because staff cannot get to work.   There are buses trains etc for most people but for shift workers these are not always an option. 0
