He’s already checked through it all, he’s a nightmare about giving things away. He tends to be a hoarder.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

The engineer has put us a new TiVo box in 🥳 It’s half the size of the old one. Fingers crossed that’s done the trick. This engineer has been brilliant. He said because he had to return within 7 days he’ll lose some of his bonus as it’s classed as he didn’t fix the issue sufficiently. They should be giving him extra, he’s really gone above and beyond. DD will have to pair her TP Link router with the new box though as it’s reverted to the Virgin one. She’ll moan 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Have fun with your new box - we are in the area affected by the Bilsdale transmitter burn out, but our signal is routed through an old Sky box so we haven't lost programmes. Some people have been TV deprived since 10th August though.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I don’t know how Mr SA would cope without his precious TV.It was obviously the box as everything is fine now, not a flicker to be seen. I had thought about emailing Virgin so will do so. The engineer said I’ll be getting a survey about him so will see if I can add something to that too.Mr SA is driving me nuts tonight, I feel like he’s rushing on to the next thing constantly. He had a shower at 3pm then he was sitting waiting for his evening meal. I was still working! He was complaining I still hadn’t had a bath at 6pm (I had just finished my Pilates) and worrying his dinner would be late. Straight after he had eaten he was asking me what time I’m going to Lidl tomorrow. Told him I don’t think I’ll have time as I’ve got a lot of work meetings tomorrow, will have to leave it until Friday when it’s better for me. So now he’s not happy about that because I always pick him up a pack of their own brand dupe for Stella beer on Thursdays and now he’s going to have to wait until Friday, oh poor him how will he cope 😡I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8
