Happy Saturday 🥂
It’s been raining since just before lunchtime, thankfully I managed to get out to the shops and take the dog out before it started.
DS and the GKs have been and gone. Mr SA didn’t have to worry about his beer this week as DS is doing Sober October.Having veggie burger and wedges for tonight’s dinner. Prosecco is chilling ready for Strictly tonight 🍾💃I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Happy Sunday 🎃
Will be NSD 2/15 today, going no further than the park across the road with the dog.Very sunny and windy here so the washing is out.Going through one of my many WW cookbooks to concoct a meal plan for next week, trying some new recipes. Also need to use up some store cupboard items. Watching another WW live cook along tonight, they’re making courgette soup. Not a lot else happening here, a nice quiet weekend ☺️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
The WW cook along was fab. Didn’t have enough courgettes to make the soup but made butternut squash, chickpea and lime soup instead, will do me 4 lunches. I managed the NSD 2/15 in the end, only left the house for a couple of local dog walks.Mr SA has broken one of my nice lights, he won’t admit it’s him but he hasn’t denied it either. Going to attempt a repair with glue. I’m cross with him as these lights weren’t cheap 😫I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I looked after a close family member with dementia for ten years(I know your husband doesn't have dementia but has brain damage). Eventually, I had to treat her like a giant, out-of-control toddler and keep the house clear of precious objects which she might collide with or fall onto. She didn't mean to - it just happened because her brain couldn't control her movements all the time. It's very hard to live with.Credit card One :£926.60( Oct 21 )(Nov 21 vet bill disaster), £999(Jan 22), £974(Feb 22)

Happy Monday, another fresh week. Nice and sunny again today.
Will have to sort something out for my morning runs/walks now the mornings are dark again.
New working pattern starts today where I have to go into the office once a week. I've picked Friday for my day this week.
Should be NSD 3/15 today, no plans to spend anything. Looked at finances and have a £11.07 underspend for last week so £1.07 has gone into the Christmas pot and £10 into the spends pot. Have made £100 overpayment on the additional borrowing part of the mortgage, hoping to be able to keep this up to bring the finish date of July 2024 closer.
Sooner rather than later will have to sort out a day off work to take Mr SA into town for him to have a long overdue eye test and also to get him some new clothes.
Taken a portion of veg chilli out of the freezer for tonight's dinner, will have with rice. Cleaning task is the living room.
Have a good one.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
