The Amazon delivery sounds rubbish. Got to admit my ds orders everything for me and we only ever tend to order things with the prime logo.
Poor dog….and cat. Hope they are both ok and don’t leave you any more little packages for you to clean up 😵💫January spends - £587.583 -
As you say delivery from non Amazon sellers are not the best.

So annoyed I didn’t notice the bag wasn't direct from Amazon. I should’ve bought it from the little boutique and supported a local business, well local to my friend anyway.

I try to look for prime as I’ve been caught out with other sellers too. What is it with Hermes saying they’ve tried to deliver when it’s clearly lost? I have had my money back before and then the item has turned up…I told Amazon, but explained they’d have to pick it up and they just said keep it…so I hope you get a win like that.

Happy Friday 🎉
This week has flown by to say it was my first full week at work in ages.
The Amazon bag saga continues. The seller has been in contact basically telling me it's up to me to track it with Hermes. I've responded by telling her I have tracked it and it says something went wrong with the delivery and they will attempt again. As that was a week ago it looks like Hermes have lost the parcel. I've told her as the seller it's up to her to take this up with Hermes and send me a refund. Amazon say they will refund me if she doesn't so I won't lose out. In future I will make sure I check that anything I buy comes direct from Amazon.
Another saga is the kitchen tap still dripping even though it's a new one. The chap who fitted it said he'll come and have a look when he's got time but to be honest he's not a plumber, he's a handyman, and I don't think he knows how to fix it. I think it's something to do with the plumbing underneath the sink.
I hate it when you have little niggles that aren't getting fixed!
Today should be NSD 5/12.
I didn't go for a run this morning as the leg where Mr SA ran me over and trashed my ankle is hurting just where the plate is. It feels like a bone pain, it's not bad enough to take painkillers and it's not constant, it just keeps twinging. I'm going to go lightly on it today to see if it eases off. I'll try some walking and stretching exercises but nothing high impact.
Work-wise have loads of odds and ends to tie up today, hopefully it will be fairly quiet so I can get these done. Yesterday was a bit manic.
Have a good one 😎

Take it easy with the leg for a while….not worth pushing it too much and doing damage.
Hope you get the bag sorted soon……you don’t need hassle like that in your life.
Hoping you get a quiet day.January spends - £587.585 -
Look at your tap thing logically. The problem has got to be between the on/off tap & where the water comes out. Washer fitted cockeyed or not fitted at all. It is I suppose remotely possible that they have banged your water pressure up after it being off & the tap just cannot cope.

Hope the ankle sorts itself quickly. They could do with sending you home with a manual of random pains and symptoms after bone work - so far my repaired arm bone has been good as gold but from time to time the scar nudges me. As far as I can tell that's either when I'm not using it enough or (rarely) when I use it too much. But as I say, they forgot to supply me with a manual.
Does the change in humidity affect your ankle? It's been oppressively humid up here. Alternatively, could the bone be growing still?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I was warned I might have trouble with my ankle because of how bad the break was. I was very close to losing that part of my leg. The screw is sticking out of one of the bones, probably not noticeable to anyone else but I can see and feel it. They did say the screws and plates could be removed if causing problems but I won’t go down that route unless absolutely necessary. Went for a decent length dog walk at lunchtime then did a stretching exercise class from the FitOn app and my ankle was fine.Very tempted to book next year’s holidays soon. Jet2 are doing £120 off via their app. The prices are pretty decent at the moment but I think they might go up if the test requirement is removed or the process is made easier/cheaper. There are some rumours about changes so it might be a good idea to book sooner rather than later. I would book Lanzarote for April and Zante for August.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
